Called and Chosen

I need to hit a little hard on one verse tonight. It is not the theology of one of the church I go to. I want to hit a bit on the truth that Jesus picks people before they are born. I need to place this out so people know. Here is the verse. I must note that this writing is not the views of some churches and some might not think this is right but I am ok with thagt

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”[1]

Called and chosen. Both words are in the verse and both tonight I am going to work into and allow you the reader to think for yourself. Jesus said that many are called. The Greek word makes this word to mean invited or called. It has the thinking that God invited people to heaven. So many are invited to heaven but few are chosen meaning picked out or chosen. Rephrasing the verse many are invited and few are chosen to go to heaven. Many do not think this is right and I see to a point they are right. If one calls on the name of Jesus then he is saved. I think some do call and we are to offer the truth all the people but God has divinely selected the ones that he is going to save. I think to a point 2 people hear the same thing and one repents and the other does not. I think Jesus has picked one and the other has not been picked. However it is not the Lords fault that the second comes to no call for Jesus.
Here is the truth and that is you alone are the one responsible for your salvation and Gods choice is a secret to me. I think as long as you know life you can get saved. One asks Why does Jesus choose one and not another and I say we do not know and we need to trust him alone for the things that he does and we need to share the Lord with all the people we meet and live as we are the only bible others will ever need. Yet Jesus does choose the ones he allows into his kingdom.
If your reading this you are chosen and you ought to make it right between you and Jesus Christ.

Here is my take on Calvinism

Total depravity
Unconditional election
Limited atonement
Irresistible grace
Perseverance of the saints

Total depravity does not equal total inability. Having been made in
God's image gives us the ability to choose. (Otherwise Adam COULD NOT
Have fallen). You stated it nicely. Hyper Calvinists take depravity to
Equal inability. A dangerous path to tread when one confuses the words
God has said.

Unconditional Election. God did elect, yes. I think you know what I
Think, but I'll use an analogy to clear it up a little. If you knew that
The Red Sox were going to win tonight game against the Yankees, did you
cause it? Did you force them to go out and play? Did you sabotage the
Yankees? Or did they play and win? If they played and won, were they
not only doing what they were supposed to do, or did (again I ask) you
make them win?

Limited atonement. Christ died for all. Again you stated it eloquently.
Bravo!

Irresistible grace. We can resist being in God's grace. He could force
grace on us, but that does not mean that grace=salvation. Grace is even
allowing us to "play the game" If you don't want to even get on the
field, how can you possible be an over comer in the event?

Perseverance of the saints. True and not because of the saint ability
to persevere, but because of the God who loves us and strengthens us and
works through us are we able to do this.

Jesus and a wedding invite

Photos are on the site now. If your getting this via email you ought to know I am improving my blog with photos. I am doing it hoping you will come see if you get on the blog. I got so many photos of all the history of the shadman. I want to make a page you will like and come to time after time because it is done right and you might be on it. If you got into the history books you are going on the site because your part of me. Also I want to make Jesus the object of the blog and center on him and my life. I am looking for maybe others that might want to type things up when I am gone. I am looking for bible passages and things to learn the bible. I want to make this a good place for me to share with the world. I am signing lots of books and hoping to get hits that way

http://shadrolfe.blogspot.com/

Here is some bible for you

And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”
Jesus is talking about a wedding and that is a symbol of Heaven. God has made a feat or wedding for his Son. Who are the people that were invited? I think they were the Jewish folks. SO Jesus has came to earth to call the Jesus to the wedding. They did not want to come to the wedding. They made light of it and thought it was just not to important. I got a wedding invite today for a friend and I feel awful that I cannot make it. I might just go and spend tons of money. It is going to cost tons so I am not going to go yet I will honor Kate and Dan. But it is important to try to honor them. But the guests of the wedding are going be invited. In our day we have people that do not have time for the Lord and do not want to go to the wedding. They want to go and sin and not get ready for the Lords coming. Friend if your holding out the Lord of your lord. If your saved you ought to find out serve and walk tight in the Lord. Get ready foir Jesus to come and stop putting it of.
’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.
Friend the king is mad and he goes out and destroys people that did not honor his wedding. He is showing me that he is going to not tolerate folks that do not take his goal. But the wedding is now not full so the king goes out and gets new folks and they are invited. It opened the doors to people that the wedding was not open to before. God is going to fill heaven and he is going to bring many to faith in Jesus.

12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”[1]

Here a man did not come ready for the wedding. Jesus is making a warning to us to make our life’s righteous by making Jesus Lord. I think you need to have that to get into heaven. If you are making any other way including baptism, going to church, trusting in your works, praying to Mary or repenting and doing hail marys, Friend there is one way and it is repenting to Jesus and relying only in Jesus to save you. If you’re a catholic or a Baptist and do not have a personal walk your not prepared to move to heaven. I need to make a statement and study out the catholic faith but that is not tonight.

I am going to make one more point that might not go well. Jesus said few are chosen. I am into the doctrine called election and I think it is the truth. Jesus picks the ones he is going to save. It is a big deal and I am going to write this out. It is a thing many do not like. It is truth and I will go into that soon after I do the rest of Mathew.

Here are good sermons on Election

Blessing are to be used not kept

Late night because I am in bible school here in town and Mondays are going to be later nights for me. I am going to a little bible school here in Saint Cloud called Granite City bible school. It is a Baptist one that uses the KJV and that is ok. I am happy to go and expand my bible knowledge and for help in my study of the bible. I think one think I liked is we need to learn how to talk in the English. I am not the best on English and if I want to learn more and go to where I want to go serve I have to study the painful things and that is English because to be a bible teacher one has to know how to read better and better. So I might just add to this site a word study a day type of thing and that will increase our love for the bible because it is key to know the word. It is a fine idea. Maybe a bible word found in the king James or an English word that I learned and read for knowledge. If we expand our vocab we become better readers and that is going to help in studying the bible and we will become smarter. I also need better gr4ammer to make this blog better. I want to make this a fun place to learn for me and have you back to see more. I want to go into the word tonight in Matthew again. I might need 2 nights but that is ok here.

MATT 21 33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. 34 Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. 35 And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?”

Lets define the things here. Landowner is God the father and the place planted is Israel. God has built them from the beginning. Wicked wine dresser is the leader of the land. The sent were the prophets. Like John and Moses and Daniel. Painting the photo here God has built a place and lives in a far land. He sends the prophets to get his fruit and the men were treated badly. God’s servants are treated not to well are they? We ought to pay the workers fairly. In the bible God tells us his workers are treated not so well. Matter of fact Look in this passage

2 chr 36 15 And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. 16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.[1]
People always seem to reject the Lord and his worker to the point they kill them and mocked them. God sent many to allow the nation and the people to repent and when the Lord comes or the son of the father in the passage they did not turn to him. Jesus comes to get the people and save them and the leaders reject Jesus and this

41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”

Jesus does destroy the leaders and takes their inheritance and gives it to more people like the gentiles and the people it was not for. He adopts all of the people and gives all the chance to live and serve the king. It makes for a lesion that people who are blessed ought to handle the blessing right and work on the work they are given. Ones that had the rights trashed them and rejected them and we all can get into the blessing. We take for granted the blessings we have like living in a place where the Bible is so free to be read and we are free to serve. People do not ever take his blessings to you for granted but use them. I go to bible school and I am able to hear the bible taught by great men and that is a blessing and I want to be grateful and I want to use it to bless others. Masters kids your blessed so use it for Jesus and take the word to folks that won’t hear it. If you are in a good church your blessed to. I think this is a key to us that serve and are training.

42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’ ?
43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. 46 But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet.[2]

Leaders here are going to mock Jesus and they want to kill him but Jesus is not ready. He is about to die for them and us.

y am i a big masters college fan

I posted my site tonight on a e mail list I am on. Hi to those from the list exposing the democrats and thank you for coming here tonight. I am a Christian blog and I sometimes hit the political things. I am also trying to get more traffic by going to the Masters College ring and other rings. I am trying to get people here to the site and I want others to do the same. So I want to brief you on my connection to Masters College. I kind of met your site and whole school by my whatever you call it with Erin Buescher. She us a player in the WNBA and talked a ton about Jesus and gave up school to go to a bible school in LA Masters College. I thought I was all that in my walk in Jesus like I did the church small group thing and I loved Jesus I was a saved man but maybe Jesus was not my king who knows. I go to a game Erin talks I gave my life to Jesus. I called the school to try to make peace with Erin and I go there to meet here and learn more about the faith. Masters had a man by the name of John Macarthur as its Pres. I emailed a guy there and he happened to be Bob Armstrong and he was a older guy and we talked over the net and Bob got some basic of Jesus into me. I corresponded for half of year and I came to Master on a trip and you all out there were Just all into Jesus and made my time there awesome. I plan more trips out there and I love that place and the Lord has used it in my heart. You all send me 4 chapels a month. I listened to the chapels online for the first part of my walk. I am a also good pal with Mark Tat lock who got mad at me for many things I did and almost kicked my out of the place. I am a friend with some of you and a bro to all of you. If I had the money I would move there and go to school to be a bible teacher. SO this is one reason I am on your blogs and aiming you to learn more. I love Masters and you all have got a treat to go to a bible centered place and here from Macarthur and the teachers there. I am posting this on my site and I hope to post on some of yours to. I listen to tapes of chapel and I long to know all of you.

Matt 21 Morwe on rejecting Jesus

I get the hint the Palmers are not going to speak to ME. I am not sure why that is. Isw it my views on Jesus or my pro-life votes or perhaps they are just done with me? I am not sure I like their ways of rejection. Like what did I do so awful the folks will not talk to me? Is she is trouble and I do not care for Kelly like whatever or I? I guess that is one is telling me that it is time to cut and run or go back on a earlier time. I am mad and I am expressing it. I do not want to sit and do nothing so I am working on my writing and I am also working on the things that I need to. I am sad tonight but it is the night before a major day and here I am on the machine. I miss family life friends and this is hard for me to tell you unless you know what it is like.

Lets look at the Bible and maybe glean some wisdom from Jesus. It is a parable tonight

Matthew 21 28 “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ 29 He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?”
They said to Him, “The first.”
Jesus is telling a story here and it is about a dad and 2 sons. Dad told son A to go and work in the vineyard and the son said no. But after some time the son regretted it and went and did the work. He realized his sin. Friends do we do that in our walks in the Lord. We might of made a call to Jesus to save us and then sat and did it our way. We regret the time that was lost and we repent and we get busy in our work for Jesus.
Or are we like the second man that just said he is going to work for Jesus and never get around to it. It is a shame because some people make a profession of faith and never do anything about it, The bible sits on the shelf and the work done for Jesus is never done. What a sad thing to make Jesus your king and never go to work for him.

Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him; but tax collectors and harlots believed him; and when you saw it, you did not afterward relent and believe him.[1]
The rebuke was as hard as could be for the Leaders. The low life of the culture is the ones that are going to be in the kingdom of heaven. Its not like the leader do not have the chance. John the Baptist was sent to them and Jesus was doing things to show he was God. John was calling and they did not listen and they killed him. All the lower life is richer in faith. Jesus gave the poor the gifts that they need to trust Him. They had the chance to take Jesus and it was taken from them. Jesus is giving many the chances to hear how to be saved and they are not going to take Jesus but reject. Or they make a profession and they do not work for Jesus. I hope you are taking time to think were you are in this so you can be called on when Jesus comes.

I am never going to use real names or places on this because the people are private. Also I talked to the Palmers and they were not mad at me because of anything. ALWAYS GET THE TRUTH

Good friday thoughts

I am leaving this passage speak about what I celebrate to day. It is Jesus and he alone dieing for all the sins of mankind. Jesus did this for all of us and we need to think it over all the things Jesus did and think of the truth that Jesus paid so high of cost to save us from sins. If I had to pay I would go to hell forever and never even pay for one of my sins. Jesus paid for them all. Praise Jesus and read this and think of what Jesus did for you

Matt 27 35 Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:
“They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.”
36 Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there. 37 And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:
THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left.
39 And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads 40 and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”
41 Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said, 42 “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. 43 He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’ ”
44 Even the robbers who were crucified with Him reviled Him with the same thing.

45 Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
47 Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This Man is calling for Elijah!” 48 Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink.
49 The rest said, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to save Him.”
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
Signs Accompanying Jesus’ Death
Mark 15:38–41; Luke 23:45, 47–49
51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
55 And many women who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to Him, were there looking on from afar, 56 among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

57 Now when evening had come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. 58 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given to him. 59 When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the door of the tomb, and departed. 61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb.
62 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, 63 saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’ 64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.”65 Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.[1]

Matthew 21 The leaders try to trick Jesus

Can I do this? I am changing my views on Terry and her case. I do not think it is right to not feed her. I talked to my pastor and prayed and found myself praying for her and asking the Lord to give her food. They cannot even give her ice in the mouth and that is sicko. It is wrong to kill one. I was wrong about this and I want to say I am sorry and ask you to pray for this topic hard. I think this is a bad thing and I pray Jesus that you will forgive me and help me to grow deeper and think more before I talk.

Lets look at tonight’s Passage.

23 Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?”
Jesus has done all kinds of things in the book of Matthew like healed and forgave sins. Jesus has given sight to blind and Jesus has raised the dead. The Jewish leaders have wanted to kill Jesus because they are blind and do not know him and also Jesus is a threat to most of the traditions the Jewish culture thought got them to God. Jesus is the God of their traditions. Jesus really is the only athorty and he does not need to say anything to them.
24 But Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things: 25 The baptism of John—where was it from? From heaven or from men?”
Jesus gives the Leaders a question that they have to think over. John and what was he about. John was the last one to lead the way to God on earth. John preached to people to get ready for Jesus because Jesus was the One they all waited for. If the men wanted to reject John they did not they then were rejecting Jesus. Jesus has shown me that he is God and I am gald he has made me realize who he is. I do not think this is going to happen to anyone that Jesus does not call and pick.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 26 But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all count John as a prophet.” 27 So they answered Jesus and said, “We do not know.”
And He said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.[1]

Jesus is not going to take the trap and tell he is God and allow them to pin more on him. They I believe have lost their chance to know Jesus due to the things they said about Jesus before that he was of the devil. In the book Jesus did many things and they rejected Jesus and said he was of the Devil. Jesus then said to the Leaders they had committed a sin that would not be forgiven and Jesus hid who he was to the people of the day. That brings me to a dangerous thought. I think Jesus will give you his words and if you reject them your in danger of never being able to repent. I believe there is a point where one hears the Lords word and rejects them and they will never be able to be saved. Here are three places for you to see this part of God

Gen 6 3 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”[2]

Hosea 4 17 “Ephraim is joined to idols,
Let him alone.
18 Their drink is rebellion,
They commit harlotry continually.
Her rulers dearly love dishonor.
19 The wind has wrapped her up in its wings,
And they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
Scary to think the lord gave them the truth and they rejected so the Lord gave them their wish
9 In all their affliction He was afflicted,
And the Angel of His Presence saved them;
In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;
And He bore them and carried them
All the days of old.
10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;
So He turned Himself against them as an enemy,
And He fought against them[3]
Friend is not this time the time you make it right?

Uopdated study

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. 23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

Last night I talked on the first part of this passage. Lets work on the story and draw points on it,. Here is a king that wanted to settle all the debts of his kingdom and perhaps get them out of the way. Jesus wants to settle the debts of all mankind and one day he is going to demand we pay up if we are not paid up. Here comes a poor man that cannot in anyway pay up his debt. When the King heard this he demanded that all he had be sold till the debt is paid. God is going to be that way in the sin we have on our account. He is going to demand payment and when the sinner cannot pay God has to demand hell and death for this sinner. In this the man starts to beg him to give him time and declares that he is going to pay back every dime that he has owed. The king has compassion and declares the debt is paid in full and the servant goes free.
Here is the photo. I owe God the father for all the sins that I have done. I owe him and he is right to call me before him and demand a price that I am not able to pay. If I do not pay it I am then damned to hell forever and that is the fair and right thing to do to me. It is the fair just way of God to do it. Jesus has came and I am saved from my sins and I ask Jesus into my heart and when I did that I am forgiven and all my debt goes to Jesus and he paid it all on the cross when God took my debt and laid it on Jesus. I go free and I am forgiven and I am saved. Great story of the free Love of God and the pure compassion of the Lord Jesus. BUT it goes bad

28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.

Here the man who was forgiven goes out and finds his friend and demands a small thing is paid. The Pal is so poor he is not able to pay him back and said give me some time and I will pay all I owe. The man who just got tons forgiven does not forgive the debt. He is worst off because he puts the man in jail till he pays him back. What a wicked man. Problem is that I do the same thing when I do not forgive the sins of others.

31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
So the king finds out and is mad and brings the man before him and judges him to pay back all he owes. I want to put a cap on this because you might think that Jesus does not allow into heaven people that fail to forgive. I believe this, Jesus forgave you on the day you were saved and did for every single sin of all time forever amen. Further more your sins on that day were perfectly forgiven forever. He is perfect and Jesus has mercy and grace to cover all our sins. What a sin it is not to offer the same to every one. It is a horrid thing to mock Jesus by not forgiving all the people the sins. I am not a whimp but I am going to forgive and do it to make Jesus alive and lift him up.

Shad

New thinking on this passage tonight. I want to plug in if you will the players and make a point. John Macarthur today preached on my tape and he said that the King here is God and the debt is sin. It is the price of sin that I cannot pay even in hell forever. I am not able to pay my sins off. Is the price of my sins and the death of Jesus not more important then. Jesus paid a debt that would of made me if I paid it go to hell forever, It is such a relief and it sobers me to think Jesus died for me and paid so high a price.

Serve Jesus out of love

I want to start out on the right to die and the government. I do not think the government is the ones who get to make calls for some to get to live or die. I think it is docs and a persons deciding. As a man of the word I see life as right yet I do not think it is a good thing to single out one of tons of life’s to set a code. We need to fight the war and stop the terrorist from getting into the land to do more damage. I think they ought to worry bout that and safety instead of the social security and life of one person. No one person is not that important here that the government had to act like it did. I want to see them out of this and into real needs.

I feel like I need to call out this on the carpet and ask you to write to espress your views and convince me I am off here. Email me and comment on the blog and lets duke this out.

I want to work on the passage here

18 Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry. 19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”
I am not sure all the details but allow me to talk this out. I think that there is some symbolism here I want to point out. I think the fig tree is the nation of Israel and Jesus is making judgments on it. If we look back on the term fruit Jesus talks about it tons. Jesus said of the seeds that they all grow and produce fruits and they honor God in fruit. We are known for our fruit in John and then the fruit of the spirit is in the book of Gelatins. Jesus goes and makes this tree not able to produce and that is the Jews. It is true even in our day this land is a place of terrible wars and Christ is not producing peace but war in this region. It was to prove the land and its folks did have religion but they did not have salvation. Jesus is salvation and loving him is righteous. In that day people were trying to make a ritual of doing. Jesus wants our love and to obey him not a outward type of thing. People are like that in many churches today they go into a ritual and they have not Love and faith in Jesus so Jesus in a way deadens them and they wont produce for him.

In ad 70 Jesus indeed came and killed the system and the Jews were thrown all over to show Jesus had plans for them. They are coming back to the land and this is to show the end might be near.

21 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”[1]

What is Jesus telling us here? Jesus is asking me to take my faith and make it real not doubting. We have truth and power in Jesus and he said he would do great thing that are in his will for us. Jesus is talking about prayer in the passage and this is prayer that is according to Gods will. Jesus is not saying that we will have tons of cash or success but Jesus is saying that he is going to use us to make him Lord. He wants to spread his word to people and make them rich in himself. I would rather have tons in Jesus than tons here. If we want mountain moving faith it is a faith that is not self centered or selfish. It is believe in Gods truth and powers as we seek to do Gods Will. It wants to serve Jesus and making him happy and glorified in all we do. God wants us to keep praying and seeking in our life and not stop. God is the rewarded of us IF we keep asking and serving. Stop serving Jesus to gain but do it out of love. Friend I am loving Jesus and then serving and if you serve out of anything but Love your heart is not in it.

Here is the call Love the Lord and serve him because you love him. Give to Jesus out of Love and not cuz you have to. Live for Jesus if it costs you and if you are having to give it all for him. I want to live like that and pray for me that I will

Jesus in the temple Mathew 21

I want to look at the next passage in Matthew…

12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’”
In this passage I think we find much about the Lord and his character. Jesus is first hand going to the temple that is all about him God is coming into his home. Yet there are two kinds of people there the Leaders and the humble ones. Jesus first goes after the ones that are using this holy place as a money making place. Jesus is not for sale. He goes and drives out the folks that are trying to make money in His home. I do not thing we as a church are much better. I am talking about making money in the church. I can see it in another way. Here at my church the kids are planning an outreach in East Asia. They want to sell pizza and make the proceeds go for the trip. Fine and dandy I think that is ok. I think Jesus is going after the people that make money and sell to make a profit. I think of a Music fest where folks gather to listen to music and the fest charges all kinds of money you make it work. I see they want to profit and sell Jesus. I think it is ok to have a concert but make the money on other things. I think Jesus is also telling people in the dark ages that is paying to get sins forgiven is a bad thing. If you’re paying any kind of money including a tithe to get saved or stay in a church STOP IT! Jesus wants to forgive you and make you free of that. Yet if you tithe and think it is linked to anything but loving obeying Jesus and the bible stop it to. God does not need your cash till he has your love for himself.
I do not think this lasted for more than a day and the Leaders came and did the same thing. Jesus did not like it and the bottom line for me is do not make money out of my walk with Jesus and obey him in love and not out of a habit.

14 Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them. 15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant 16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?”

Here is the Humble and people that came to the temple that day to. I tend to see both were there. What did they seek? I see they had hearts that wanted to see Jesus and seek the Lord in his true love. What does Jesus do? He healed them and shows deep love and proof that he the Lord. In all my time in the word I think a key to knowing Jesus is seeking his face with a heart that loves him and then Jesus is found. He did not just give them a pep talk he healed and met the need. How is the church doing that today? I think of churches that are too big. Look at me to be I meeting needs in church. AM I praying like I ought to and bring the things up before Jesus and letting the needs get met? I need to keep my eyes and ears open in church and are there for people
And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read,
‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have perfected praise’?”
We as the Lords ought to sing and praise Jesus are church to. We need to praise him because Jesus meets all our needs and God calls us his kids.
So lets make the Lords home a place where he meets us ad we offer gifts to him. Our hearts and cash are his and lets learn to honor him rightly in them.

Palm sunday Lessions on Matt 21 1 11

i friends, I am going to finish what I started about 3 years ago and that is the book of Matthew. I did many posts on this book and I am sometime going to offer them to them who want them in a cd offer. I want to work and take my blog in this direction and that is one where I am going to talk on the bible. I think the bible is a awesome book and I want to work on that for a focus of my life’s writing. I want to leave this world with many thoughts on the bible and with a focus on Jesus. It is Palm Sunday to and I want to think about that and that is where I am currently at in my work on this book. One thing I want to point out, I am not much into a “personal Journal” yet I try to keep you on top of the news as I am living. I am into a outreach of the bible and growth in Jesus. I also am not going to talk about my place of work and when I do it is going to be in a good light, blogs are a big thing here on the net and I am using mine to point to Jesus and leave a lasting impact to this lost world. A couple of notes on the trip I make in the book, first I am doing this as a tool for me to dig out the word. I am studying the bible as I am learning how. I am not trying to make this your bible study but I hope you learn how to study it like I am for yourself and glean the Lords work for your self. Second I go long and that is just how I do this. So I will give you pointers on my thinking. I am reading Macathurs books to so just know I am work with outside sources and I will try to note them as we work.

21 Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
4 All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
5 “Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
6 So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. 8 And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Hosanna in the highest!”
10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”
11 So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”[1]

I want to paint the day out and then hit some lesions of this passage. Jesus is on his way to his death and on his way he has just raised a man from the dead. I will not comment on this here but will in John. Jesus tells his followers to go and get his a colt that is ready for Jesus to ride. Here Jesus is showing that he is all knowing in that he has put this colt there and he is also fulfilling what is written about him in the Old Testament. Here is a direct thing Jesus filled and this is part of the proof that Jesus is real. All is done to as planed. Jesus never goes off the plan of God.

They laid their clothes on the colt and Jesus begins to ride it into the city. It is nuts cause Jesus is being seen by people at the Passover from all over. Maybe 300,000 are out that day. Jesus is being treated as the King and yet the Jews do not know what is coming and that is a day in less then a week they all would kill this king. Friends Jesus kingdom is not one that at that time was going to take the world and take over Rome. Dare I say on that day Jesus was not understood by anybody? Even the 12 did not get it. We now have the news and somewhat the outcome of this event and that is a march to a cross to die. Yet the people did not want that here. In our day many out there want to come to Jesus as king and want him to take over their pocketbooks and get rich. They think Jesus is the one to bring success and fame or Jesus is the good friend. Jesus is one that demands us to give all up for him and make him our only passion in life. Jesus did not come to bring you a happy life but to conform you to live a life for him alone. Jesus died for your sins not so you can get rich and healed.

Sp when people asked who is Jesus note they said a prophet from the city he was from. Jesus is God and was God yet the people did not see it. They were crowning Jesus hoping for a salvation from Rome and Jesus wants to save from sins. They were saying hosanna to Jesus. Hosanna means save us now. Jesus is going to save us one day and take us home to live in heaven but on that day they were going to worship Jesus just to kill him later on the cross.

I think the bottom line here is that we need to look to Jesus to save us. Also know and do not be fooled by folks that make Jesus to be something he is not.

Jesus is alive and you can trust him

http://www.biblebb.com/files/purpose.htm

http://www.biblebb.com/files/purpose.htm

http://www.holyobserver.com/detail.php?isu=v01i07&art=purpose

Looking at the sites above I am shocked and I am telling you not to trust this book. Here is a man that went out and interviewed the neighbors and told then they can build the church. This is not the right way to build a church. First of all the church is built by Jesus.

I might go back to that topic. I wish to go and finish the book I read and that is the case for Christ. Tonight I want to work on the things that prove Jesus did rise from the dead. I want to share a movie with you. In the second back to the future movie there is a part where the bad guy Biff chases Marty to the top of the hotel Biff owns. So Marty is forced to fall of the roof and Biff thinks he jumped only to find the Time machine was there to save Marty. Friend I do not like to compare movies and the bible but I say you can risk your live and fall into the truth that Jesus did rise from the dead. If you think it all out you are going to find the truth. I looked for the Lord and he found me looking. Friend I know the Lord because he found me. I am not going to claim I found him in the reading but I am presenting the truth and why you might trust it.

I want to begin with this in the chapter. Out of 12 men that followed Jesus 9 of them died in a martyrs death. If you think it is just a fad millions have died for Jesus, Here of the 12 are 11 that quit there jobs and went out to tell the world Jesus is Gods solution to sin. If you want more here is 12 that within 20 years of the start had churches in Rome and all over the known world. Here is another thing many of the Muslims that died for Allah are not dieing for a cause they die because of a law. All the men saw Jesus alive and would not live doing other things. They were committed to Jesus and died for this. Also look at Saul and his conversion, Saul did not want to love Jesus and He was a Jew that felt he had to stop this movement and Jesus met him on a road and Paul’s life turned on a dime and Paul was used to share Jesus and write much of the New Testament. James the Brother of Jesus also believed and might of wrote a book. He did not believe till he saw Jesus alive. James was a leader of the early church.

Another thing happened and that is the changing of the Jews worship day. Since recorded history the Jews live, as Saturday was the day of worship. In Israel today the Jews worship from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. But when Jesus was alive the Christians that are Jews worshiped on Sunday and Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday. Even the Jews today do not make the Law the only thing and they no longer sacrifice for sin daily.

Also in the shortly after Jesus death the church was born changing the way God dealt with us. We no longer have to circumsize. Also we have the communion and baptism. I want to make a point the book did not hit and that is AD70 when the Jews no longer had the temple to go to. The wall is still there and I am not finding the truth on that. Maybe Jesus is proven there cause Jesus called is as it is. I think he is going to be there one day on earth to walk into the gate. Are you ready? If Jesus is real then you need him. Go to the link on the side of the page and follow it and learn how to know Jesus

Short and Sweet notes

I got a few notes. I am so mad they are killing the lady in FL. I think they ought to let her live and charge her family. If they are going to kill her at least put her asleep in a good way. I hope they do not start killing anyone. Life is sacred and the only we ought kill is Murders and sexual people that reck humans life.

I got to s\have netter for work. I am not good at looking my best. If I am not looking to make Jesus famous is stupid. I ought to make him look good by making myself look good. I am going to have to work on that. I am not going to take up more space tonight. I am going to work on Case For Christ in the next few days. I might do a number of other things to keep the Lord the focus. I might work though Knowing God, I might work in Matthew I might work on a book Erin recommended I am eyeing and I might do a book on the trails of Jesus. I am done go take a bath friends

Jesus is alive and Brad Johnson is back

I am going to be short and I am going to be sweet tonight. I want to sleep soon so here is the point I want to make. We can prove Jesus was alive and we do that in this passage in the bible.

1 Cor 15 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time[1]

I went over this passage before. It contains a creed the people said in the church of the time when it was born. Jesus died and we covered that, He was buried and we know that and Jesus rose up from the dead. Peter and the 12 see Jesus, 500 people also see Jesus at one time. Is this true? Lets look at a possible thing maybe all 500 just think they saw Jesus alive. First of all if 500 people see the same thing I think it is real. Second of all the 500 people were alive and could say it did not happen.

You say this is just a fairy tale. Then tell me why so many in time died for believing a fairy tale? Many have burned and died for Jesus. Peter was killed upside down and most of the people in the story of Jesus died because they hung onto the story. Friend no one is going to die for a fable. If one is died for a fable ok but how many millions have?

I must change gears and welcome back Brad Johnson home. I liked him and now he is the backup for the loser we got now. I liked brad then and I like him now. Welcome home Brad and I liked you anyhow. I think he is a great man and player and I am glad to have him back. I also like the people we got in free agents and I have hope for my Vikings Snoot and Sharper are nice to have on the team to.

Jesus is alive and I got proof

I went to the dentist today and I got to go back and get a root canal. Not going to be fun at all. It is going to cost and I know I am able to do better things with the money I am blessed with. I think I need to tithe more and stop making every excuse to not tithe. I want to bless the Lord and make his name famous it only makes sense to use my cash he gives me to do that. I know the people that do are blessed and I am not going to out give Jesus. His word is truth and nothing in the bible is EVER lies. I ought to trust Jesus in this area. Hi to all you folks coming in and seeing the blog for the first time or the tenth time, I am glad you’re here and make it is habbit. Read my thoughts and me and tell me yours. I read comments and I want your emails. I am talking about thing I want well tell me what you want.

I tonight want to talk about the fact Jesus rose from the dead. If Jesus is dead I am nothing and my life is a sham and I want to die right now. Get my a gun so I am out of this nothingness. I bet my life that Jesus rose from the dead. I live only because Jesus is mine and his glory is his. If Jesus is not alive then all kinds of folks are dieing in places tonight for a lie. If Jesus is not alive then all his followers are fooled and the 12 died for a lie. All the bibles are not worthy to be on the shelves. Jesus is alive as the bible teaches. If you cannot see it your going to not like your afterlife. By the way if one does not take the bible into their life how is it they tell me they are going to heaven? If your not into the bible and want heaven I guess you invent some kind a lie? Anyhow just thinking on the paper

Here is proof that Jesus is alive! All involved knows the tomb. If the Jews are asked they think the body of Jesus was stolen. If a Jew was able to know where the tomb of Jesus is and show a body then I think they got a case. All the parties do see the tomb but the Jews think Jesus body was stolen. EVEN WHEN A GUARD WAS THERE! A bad conclusion. We have a missing body here. Look at the accounts of this in the bible. They are simple and believable. I know woman in the day were looked at as secondary people and this makes it more believable because if men found them they would have been faking it because they had more to lose. Woman in the bible were given more class then any other faith. In the time they were not given good graces but they are the first to see Jesus alive. Every source said they found the tomb first.

Look at the accounts in the bible to. They are somewhat different yet they all point to Jesus being alive. All of them mention woman as being at Jesus tomb first. All of them share Jesus was buried and who did it. It is four men’s testimony that is saying Jesus is alive.

I find another thing you can look at for more than I am sharing

Oldie but a goodie

Here is a journal from before

Lets look agt the word tonight. I am hitting a small passage and I hope that I am getting what Jesus is trying to teach me in the bible. I am fearful sometimes that I miss the meaning. As I think the bible is the link to the Lord. His words and thoughts need to the thing that guide me and make me to follow Jesus more.
46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. 47 Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”
Jesus is teaching to the people and now his family is there and they want to talk with Jesus. Jesus said to the person that the people who are his family are the ones who do the will of the Lord. Any one that does the will of the Lord is part of his family I read Jesus is saying. What does it take to do the will of God or better put what is the will of God in this passage. Lets try to learn the “will of God” 48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother”
John 6 29 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”[1] It is the will of God to believe in the one he sent. It is Jesus who God sent. To belive is to put all your hope in the Lord Jesus and trust him to save you. Here it is Gods will for a person to trust in Jesus to save me.
Acts 6 athey said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. 34 Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with his entire household.[2]
Gods will is to be saved. SO if your saved Jesus here in Mathew is telling you you are a part of his family. What a thing to call your self part of Jesus Family.
Romans 12 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.[3]
The will of God is not to be conformed to this world but be transformed in the bible. I need to be in the word to know the will of the Lord and let it change my life.
I thes 2 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; [4]
God will for me is to abstain from sex outside of marriage.
I guess the latter 2 cannot be true if one is not saved. Saving faith is the first step before you can do anything else for the Lord. It ties in to the chapter. If I am going to not be conformed to the world or be clean on the sexual area in my life I have to have the power Of the Lord Jesus in me and that means I need to be saved and filled with Gods Spirit meaning I confess my sins and be close to the Lord. Lots of things are repented in the Bible so it must be a important thing

Jesus did this for you

I am work in a book called Case for Christ. I have gone into lots of why Jesus is true. For you that are atheists I cannot see why you hold to the claim Jesus is a fairy tale. How could he be with all I am reading? All the history around the time points to Jesus being real. All the bible out there point to it being real and the people of that day that do not love him still claim he was real. So one has to decide for him or her own salvation. It is going to be you stand and tell your life before Jesus. If you are not saved it is not going to be a good day for you. I want to cut it to this simple thing, I do not care where you stand on any bible command or verse I want to narrow it to one thing and it is what will you do with Jesus and his death for you. That is the truth and you accept it your saved and if not you’re in hell. No other tests any other reason. Jesus is the giver of heaven and to not take Jesus is to choose Hell. I cut it right to the truth friend and I am not going to dance around it. SO Here is the truth on Jesus death as I know it. I want to begin this with the end of the road and you will get why as you read. Many people claim Jesus did not die on the cross. They said he was taken down alive and the body is missing. Well if you claim that then looking at the events are going to shake you. Lets look at them.

In the garden Jesus sweated blood. This is called hematidrosis. It is a thing one gets from deep emotional stress. Look it up on the net and research it. Here is a link for you to look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hematidrosis. So Jesus skin also became soft and not ready for a beating.

Jesus then goes at night to a trail and that is where Pilate and Jesus exchanged words. Jesus is striped and flogged. This means he was whipped and beaten up. They took a leather belt and put glass and led balls on it and hit Jesus 39 times. He has soft skin so the skin ripped. It is hard to type out but I want to show you the pain Jesus suffered for you so I am going to be truthful. In flogging a man is whipped many times and it ripped the skin open and it hurts. Also your bones and musels are ripped to shreds. The back is gone and I think bones could have been deeply bused. Blood was lost to because the veins are broke. It is a cause of death. Jesus however does not die yet.

Jesus then was given a robe (on his back that had been beaten and wounds were there.), so they can mock him as king and a thorned crown was pressed on his head. It was pressed in so the scull of Jesus is all bloody. Then the robe is ripped off opening the bloody back. All the blood lost and all the veins are open. It is not good to bleed. So if the Lord Jesus was not dead he was wounded and not in shape to go anywhere. If you think of the Lord and the carrying the cross it is a thought that this would be possible. Jesus was not in shape. It must have been his Father helping him. I see Jesus beaten and badly wounded. Also the heavy cross is pressing into the wounds of Jesus and he is in pain. He had to be helped to get the cross to the hill.

Jesus is then put to the beam and nailed there. He is hung with the arms of his hung and his feet and nailed to this cross, painful to think about. He dies of no way to breathe. If you are thinking he did not die think of the poke he got on the side damaging the heart where the blood goes into the heart and pumps. It was not getting there.

SO to think Jesus walked away alive is not a truth to take here. Jesus was dead and they put him into a sealed grave. If the roman’s lost the body they were going to die. And think if Jesus is alive after all the things I told you he has to roll a stone away that are tons. Not only that his wounds are so bad he does not heal. A tear in his muscles had to heal. I know this is not going to happen to alive Jesus.

Jesus died a horrid death and it is all for you and me. Amen? He came back to life but the reasons have to wait for a while

Jesus is true Look at is 53

What if I could name the place I was born, the place and way I was going to die and the time I was going to die. Also add to this I could arrange my ancestry and tell you how what I wore on the day of my death would be dealt with. I could arrange to do magic to fake you out to think I am a worker. I would do these 700 years prior to my birth and tell you where I was going to be born. I am typing out a series on the proof that Jesus was who he said he was and all the things that point to him. I am working in a book called Case For Christ. I never read a book all the way but this one I am and I like it. Tonight I want to work on this and talk to the Jews. We are more alike then different. One thing I want to do is to paint Jesus in the Jews bible. It is not the same as the Christians bible. I want to point out where in your bible you can find Jesus. You can find him in the Jews Bible. He is all over. I am going to point to one passage to prove to you Jesus is the Messiah. I could spend weeks on this one topic like most other topics. I am going to try not to. Ok go to the cross and then Lets see if Jesus matched the fingerprint of it.

Here is a prediction of Jesus on the cross. It was written 700 years before he went to the cross. I do have solid proof this was penned before Jesus was alive.
53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Jesus was rejected by the world. People like the Jews and the leaders indeed killed this man. Jesus was a man of deep sorrows and in the garden sweated blood and prayed for God to not make him die.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
Jesus was wounded. They nailed him to a cross and before that beat Jesus to death. See the passion of the Christ and that is some little suffering Jesus went though. Our transgressions was the sins we did. All of them were dealt with on Jesus. Jesus did not fail to die for your sins.
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed
We are healed eternally. It is not for your debt or your wealth and I know this is a verse people take out and claim junk on. Jesus took your sins NOT YOUR HEALINGS AND MONEY MARKETS on the cross. If you are using the Lord to become rich and powerful STOP IT. Jesus paid for heaven on the cross. Jesus is able to heal if he wants to but I think if your using this seen to make all the bad go your not in tune.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
Jesus laid his life down. No one killed him. We all are not worthy of this and ought be grateful. Jesus was led to be killed and wiped. Jesus did not go and demand his rights to not have to die. He did it for me.
9 And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
Jesus was give a tomb and he was buried. It did not hold him for long. His grave was from a rich man to. Jesus did not try to kill anyone on his death but when they tried to fight Jesus stopped them.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
God killed Jesus to take our sins. Jesus died to take the sins and forgive them. Jesus did it all for you and I

12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.[1]
All this happens and it is in the new. Jesus did all the things above and this makes a prediction 700 years before. It is real friend bottom line deal with it and get saved and stop being a weak man.

Shadman
I got to say this Jesus is real and all you7 got to do is see the truth for your self. I got to say this. If you do not believe you want to ask Jesus to show you his truth. When you do he will save you and help you learn his truth.

Jesus is comming soon

What is the deal. I read my morning paper and I found 2 things. One article on how Christians are bad for wanting to defend marriage and how we do not need a place to send kids to not have abortions. It is so bad I took the paper out of my lobby and threw it in the trash. I am sick of the Nonsaved having the run at my paper. I read the paper all the time. I see Jesus being trashed. Jesus one day will be back on earth ruling. I just think that day’s newspaper is going to be so cool when Jesus is the king and all we read is His news and how he is great. I am listening to a tape set on the end of time and It is all goes into when Jesus gets back and what is going to happen when the end of the world. I for one am looking forward to seeing Jesus. I am looking to see heaven. It is going to awesome to see his Hands that died for me. I look forward to holding to friends that led me in my walk and reunions. I look forward to seeing my home and serving Jesus all the time. I kind think it is going to fun to see Jesus win all things and how the world is going to end. Also I want to be judged so to get that behind me and just fall at Jesus feet and have him and I talk. I know I am going to be there in the end. I am ready because I asked Jesus to forgive me and live in my heart and me. I had a new boss today at work and she was happy and did not stop smiling. She is going to be good. Shadman is going to bed now. Feel free to comment

Lord Jesus come soon

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.[1]

Jesus is Just like God

So Benny Hinn is in the hot seat again. I got one thing to tell Hinn. Stop your false preaching and repent. Benny you are not preaching the truth on healing and all your miracles are set up. If someone has a real miracle I will recant. You make so much money then cry to old people for more. John Macarthur sends a free gift and does not expect you to pay for it. Repent Hinn of sin and you can be saved. Preach true doctrine. You do not teach the truth on the filling of the spirit. It is not right to do what he is doing folks and please do not listen to him.

I am not trying to Hate Hinn I am asking him to repent and be right. If I hate him I would not do that I would not say what needs to say. I deal with Hinners too much to let this go by. I want to think about did Jesus actually have things about him that we can conclude about that he was God. I did some studies on the things that God is here Just keep reading or email me I will send them to you. If Jesus was God then there has to be proof by him showing he is. Yet there is a problem in the bible. Jesus became a man and laid aside some of the things he otherwise has as God. Like God is everywhere at one time. But Jesus was not in his body. Jesus did lay aside his God like attitudes in some way. Lets examine a passage on this in Phil.

2 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.[1]

Jesus made himself nothing taking a form of a bondservant and becoming like man. Jesus was a man and some of his God hood was not there. He died which God cannot do. I do not know how much he gave up or what but one thing he did not give is his forgiving of sins. Jesus forgave people in the Gospels. He also healed people. So it can be said Jesus choose some things to not have and others he kept. I also think Jesus power to heal and rule was still there. Jesus after he rose I think had the things we are going to have in heaven in our bodies. Jesus now has all the attitudes of God. Jesus is all we need and all God is Jesus is.

I am choosing to not go into parts of the chapter because I dealt with them. I want to say this about slavery and Jesus. Why does Jesus teach slaves are ok? In the roman time this was not a race thing it was a common thing. A reason one became a slave was to pay off a debt. It was one way people worked in that time. Many did not have any job so in slavery they had a way to live eat and work. Also the slaves were freed after 7 years and debts were forgiven. Jesus never endorsed slaves and the junk we had here was not good. All the slave stuff was really a way to work and pay off things. Here is a better thing than I am able to write on this topic

Jesus and Slavery
My nephew Hal has a web site and a blog where there is a page of links and my site is included. I was perusing it the other day and noticed he had put a comment next to my name saying "My uncle David is, in fact, pro-slavery." A statement like that, although potentially libelous, is at least provocative and perhaps even serves me and my site well by sending people here who would not have come otherwise. So I thought I would return the favor and perhaps send some folks to Hal's site.
Anyway, I write this to defend myself. I recall a conversation we were having last summer in a family gathering about some interesting political and religious topics. Hal made a comment that Jesus was wrong to have never spoken against slavery. I forget what I said but I am sure it was something to the effect that slavery wasn't so bad back during that day. We'll the conversation went downhill after that and the rest of the family interceded to ban any further discussion on such subjects.
Allow me to explain my complete thoughts on the subject.
Jesus did not come to set men free from slavery to men; rather he came to set men free from slavery to sin. Had he taken up the worthy cause of social reform, he would not have been able to preach his message of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Eternal salvation is infinitely more beneficial to the human soul than freedom from slavery. In fact, by focusing his message on what truly counts and on the only thing that can reform men's hearts, he was effectively establishing a church that would one day lead the way in abolishing slavery. Thank God for Christians like William Wilberforce who saw his God-given goal in life as that of the abolition of slave trade in England.
In the Roman world of that day, the master/slave relationship was more likely to be similar to employer/employee relationship. While certainly not affirming slavery as something good, it is noteworthy to realize that many slaves were treated as well as other members of the family. Besides, such a campaign to abolish slavery in that day would have been futile given the social and governmental climate of the time.
In the church, which by the way Jesus established and also heads, members included both slaves and slave owners and they were treated equally. This is not just historical fact but according to God's plan:
Galatians 3:26-28 (NKJV)
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Notice that it is not just slaves and masters who are equal but male and female too. That was quite a forward thinking idea for that time! I think that I probably mentioned to Hal that the Bible says that slaves should be obedient to their masters. But also consider that the Bible admonishes masters to be good to slaves as well:
Ephesians 6:5-9 (NKJV)
Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
Finally, I hope I said something about the fact that we are all ultimately slaves to something, either to sin or to righteousness.
Romans 6:16 (NKJV)
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Jesus was and is real

Hi all you folks that are coming to the blog Iam doing. Some from Masters college and one from the military. Whether this is your first time or your tenth time I hope you look and read me and know I am putting time in this for you. I am brash and to the point but I want you to know the Lord and I love you and I am glad you took time to read my blog. I am working though a book about why Jesus is real and how we see proof. I know it is not the most growing thing but I am doing it to lay a foundation that we we build on in our life’s. I guess if folks look for the truth and we have it and present it they will be informed. I know Jesus is real but does this affect my life in a relationship or not. I want to think of this tonight, Was Jesus a mental person that claimed to be God? I want to look at this a bit. Jesus made some claims that he was the Lord God. What are some things that show he was who he was? Look first at his feeling and emotions. Did Jesus express himself in a wrong way? Look at his sorrow when Lazerth died he wept and was sad over it. It is a normal thing to be sad at the passing of a friend. Jesus anger was in the temple we were making a den of money in a place where God was to be worshiped and that was ok for him to be angered by that. In his anger he had rational comment so we know that he was healthy in that area. Jesus had a healthy love for people and he did not gloat when people honor him but he was humble and a perfect people person that people loved and wanted to be around. If Jesus were sick people were not going to hang with him. Jesus hung with people in all levels of life to. He was not nuts.

Ok Jesus said he was GOD so what did Jesus do to back this claim up.
Jesus did many healings. He healed many people from many things. He called a dead man out of a tomb. He told a dead gal to arise. He called demons out of people and the demons knew who he was and feared Jesus. He calmed a storm by his words. I believe Jesus did all the bible tells us. Here is a list of all the miracles that Jesus did. Go to http://www.lifeofchrist.com/life/miracles.html.

Some maintain that Jesus had the gift to fake people out and make them think that he did things he really did not do. Like made a person think they were healed of something. I think some healers do this today and I am going to study that on another day but not tonight. Jesus was not a fake healer. Look at the water going into wine. Jesus never told the guest to think it was wine but they thought it was the best wine they had. Jesus never told the people what he did. I list the story at the end of tonight’s lesion.

Also if Jesus is a fake then you got a doubter and a empty tomb. If you think of it Thomas makes me feel good and Jesus restores him after he rose to prove he was real. If Jesus is a fake then I think that Thomas was not needed to make it real. You also got 500 people that said he rose and they all saw him at one time. Jesus did rise and live again.

Here is the point all the non-thinker claim Jesus is not God. But he is

life after death A oldie and a good message

I am going to run a oldie and a goodie tonight. I did a series on Matthew and here is one of the writeing I did. I wrote this the night Mrs Jones died. I want you to know that I believe in life after death. Here is why

It has been a not to fun day. I went to the homecoming service of Cheryl. They made me a pallbearer. It hit me as a honor and a high one. I cried some in the end of the service. I was sad when they showed the photos of her at the end. I sat with Pat and I was in good hands. Also I am thinking the salvation of Jessie is close and I hope it is in the near future. I gave a speech and I urged people to come to Jesus. I want to think over a passage or 2 tonight that I might of went over before but I think they are good. It is a good reminder. I look to the word of the Lord and the book of 1 thes 4

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
It is always been my thought that in heaven people are going to know each other in the kingdom of heaven, This is a verse that I point to. Saints that fall asleep are dead. I am not sure what they know in heaven but it is my thinking it they are dead and in the kingdom meeting the Lord and serving him. God is going to at the rapture take all his kids out and we are going to have body’s that we will know and be known. All the dead are going to be with Jesus and he is going to bring them all back. I must note the people I am talking about only the redeemed.

People that are dead are going to be up there first and then the people alive are going to be in heaven with him. The body of Cheryl now lies in a grave in Baldwin cemetery but if Jesus came tonight she will leave and be united with her soul. Then we go u; and see them again. It is only the saved that go up and the ones not saved do not go in this time. They are going to rise up and given bodies and Jesus has them bow to him and they are banned in hell forever. Friend if you read this get saved today. A Admit you’re a sinner. B believes Jesus died and took the full price of your sins on the cross. C Confess Jesus as Lord and king of your life D declare Jesus and your new life to someone.

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.[1]
We like I said go up and to be with Jesus and get to be there forever and ever. It is a comfort we say, sing and proclaim as Christians. We do this I think because we show the world Jesus is king and he is our hope and nothing the world offers gives any hope that matches that. I will member that Mandy when she was at the grave said she could not wait to see Cheryl. I share that hope and I give her to the Lord trusting him and loving him. But I want to do the work that he wants me to do and that is to live for his glory.

What did Jesus think of himself?

Last time I wrote on the truth that Jesus is the king of all the earth. But who did Jesus think he was and what did he think he was here to do. Jesus claims are clear in John when he said I AM. Was Jesus a nut when he said this? I mean you go to a state hospital and many think they are God. I guess if you think of some of the people out in popular culture today some claim that Jesus never wanted us to worship him. They think he said good things and that’s it. So Who did Jesus think he was?

Lets start our look at this Jesus found 12 man to follow him. The number 12 is the number of tribes that were in the old. Jesus is proving how the Lord worked in the old in the 12 tribes of Israel. Jesus also called John the Baptist the greatest man that walked earth. Then he did greater things and John even said that at Jesus baptism. Jesus then must of really wanted us to know he was God. Jesus made statements like it is not what goes into you that defile you it is what comes out of you. This is a statement rewriting the Jewish laws. Jesus was amazing to when he spoke he did not leave any doubts that he was speaking as God. Another thing that makes one conclude Jesus was God is the fact he was closer to God in how he refers to God as abba or daddy. In the Jews mind it was unthinkable to be close to God as to call him Dad. But Jesus was the son and he and God have the closest relationship ever. Jesus did not mix his words because in John Jesus clearly called himself GOD in his I am statements. Jesus was God and he knew it. I want to point out a few times where Jesus is seen as God

Matt 16 13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.[1]

Note that when Peter said that Jesus was Christ Jesus blessed him and it was revealed in that God allowed Peter to see this. I need to share this is a sign of God enabled faith and not a thing Peter came up on his own. I am going to dig this path sometime in my blog.

Jesus job was to free the people of sin and bring Israel and to free us to enjoy God. Here in his own words is why Jesus came to earth

45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”[2]

Jesus did not come to be served but to serve us in making a way to God by living and dying in my place. Jesus wants to be your King and God. Please email if you want to know Jesus.

I just cannot leave my blog without a PS. For the first time in ages I saw Amy Grant on TBN. When I was a younger one she sang to me and I loved her. I got to see her and she looks and sounds fine and loves Jesus. I had to add that
