lead us into temtion
It was a ok day at work. No more drinking pop in the lobby. It could cause a write up and they are no fun to deal with. I am working on the Lords prayer in bible today so I am going to work thur this phase some :
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
Lead me not in to temptation is a promise that the Lord is going to do anyhow because God does not make temptation possible. God never tempts anyone no matter what yet he allows me to be tempted. The word might mean trial and not temptation. I am not sure. Mac saids it could mean trial. So thinking that way it could mean to not give me trials. Either way the Lord said he is going to not give me something I am not able to handle. I am going to look at this in both ways. Lead me not into temptation we are asking the lord not to allow the temptation to be so great that we sin. The devil is the father of tempting and he is the one who does it. The Devil is nothing compared to Jesus so when he is tempting me Devil can be defeated by telling him to leave me alone in Jesus name. It is to a point not ok for the devil to try to make us sin. Yet some times God does not stop the devil and we need to fight him. I am told to summit to God and he is going to flee from me. If I am close to the Lord the devil is going to fight me harder but if I resist him he is going to have to leave me alone. Still the lord might use the devil to see if I am really in the faith. God let Devil take job and do what devil wanted to do to job. Job passed the test and pleased the Lord. What tests is the Lord asking me to take. Am I resisting the devil all that I can. I need to work on not allowing the devil to temp me. If he is I need to flee. It means taking action not to sin and fleeing things that cause me to sin. I need to live in a way the devil is not going to have any foothold and cause me to sin in my life. If the devil has a foothold then sin is not going to be resited. I need to live in a way that I do not desire to sin aganest the Lord.
But what if the Lord is saying to pray the Lord not give me any trials. I think the Lord does put some trials in my life so I am able to grow closer to him. Lets think of a few things about trials, first you must rejoice when your put into a trial. In James the Lord talks some about trials. Here is a passage on trails and how to handle them in a Christian way
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
I am to have joy in my trials because they are a gift from the Lord he can use to grow me into Jesus likeness. I am to be happy. Not a fun verse of the Word
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
One reason to be happy is to know that my faith is going to produce patience. If I take my trails and allow them to work out in my lfe then I am going to have patienve for the next thing I must endure.
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing
If I am patience I am going to be able to have more fruit in me to make Jesus lifted highe4r in my life. It is a perfect work the Lord said. I will be complete and perfect cause I am going to not lack the fruit the Lord wants me to have.
. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
If I want to know how to live in any way I am to ask the lord who has all wisdom. If I need anything all I need to do is ask of the Lord. If I need help in a trial then I need to ask the lord and he is going to help me.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
If I dso not have faith in a trial then I am in trouble. If I doubt I am not able to please Jesus. Jesus is the one I must please

It was the superbowl tonight and the team that I wanted to win lost, like it always is. I went to atwood center and saw it on the big screen. I saw pat and got talked to as ALWAYS. I can be such a dork sometimes. It is sad to to know that lots of people are leaving the Church and it is a temptation when they do a social and make people pay for it. I got to keep praying. In their mind they need to make money and use the money they got for outreach. I think it is ok to make people like the members pay. I think art is good but I need to do some interviews on why people are leaving then make up my mind.
Sight is Restored
27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”
It is later in the night when I am working on this but I got to get out this and keep on track. I want to make it to the end of this book in a long time after I got all that I am able to draw out. Here Jesus is leaving the home of a person he rose from the dead. Jesus has done some amazing thing and I think people at the home where he rose the gal Jesus leaves the home and 2 blind men follow. Blindness was common in the time of Jesus due to the placement of the gospel. Their was lots of dust there. There was heat and the diet they ate was not the best. The blind men shouted and hoped Jesus would happen to hear them. They did not see Jesus so you got to wonder if they were going on faith the Lord was there. They were loud and they were presistent. They wanted mercy (God to not hold the sin in them). Jesus is one of mercy They called Jesus the Son Of David. Son of David is a new name so Lets look at it. Son of David was a old name for the Messiah. It is a Jewish name that was a common name for the person who was going to deliver the people. This David is a man the Lord made kind over the nation of Iseral and was the first king. He was told to be in the line of the Son that God would bring to the world to save the world from sin. In the old testament Jesus was predicted to be on earth. God in the bible took men and wrote to know that Jesus was his ONLY son. Here is some things writen to prove this.
Psalms 89:636 His seed shall endure forever,(Davids)
And his throne as the sun before Me;
His thone would have on it Jesus because Jesus is forever.
37 It shall be established forever like the moon,
Even like the faithful witness in the sky.”
Ps 132 11 The Lord has sworn in truth to David;
He will not turn from it:
“I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.
12 If your sons will keep My covenant
And My testimony which I shall teach them,
Their sons also shall sit upon your throne forevermore Jesus was called as we saw the son of david

6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Note the Throne of David here and over the kingdom. He is going to order it forever. Jesus is the person the Bible is talking about here. This is also in the Dead sea Scrolls to me make this a great passage on Jesus that was there 1500 years before Jesus.
Jer 23:5 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
Jesus is that king. He is the one that God is going to allow to make the world follow his judgement.
6 In His days Judah will be saved,
And Israel will dwell safely;
Now this is His name by which He will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I used here some ties to the old testament to do a couple of things. I think the very facts the bible does this, point to Jesus in the old proves to me Jesus was and is who he said he was. It uis a gift to know Jesus is the true one of the God of the world and looking at the title to me is a important thing in this study because God is using the word to build my faith that the Bible can be trusted. If Jesus is God and the bible is true than the things it said to me on Jesus forgiveing me and my home in heaven are things I am going to hang on to and trust. So I got to hit the titles of Jesus and write out where they are for me so I can build a case for the truth the Lord wants my study to hit.
SO the men that were blind went to Jesus and they called on him to cure the blindness. I am blind in the fact I cannot see Jesus and to think the first person the men would see is Jesus and they knew who Jesus was. They asked Jesus like I say for mercy for they knew they needed the sins they done taken care of before they came to God. Jesus is a God that is good and he gives us mercy and grace every time we sinned. God is Good and his mercy and grace are forever and ever.
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
Here Jesus asked for faith for the mircle and they had it. DO I ask the Lord for a healing and then think he is not going to do it. Did they belive yes they did. Jesus also is asking for a salvation type of faith. Did they truly thing Jesus was who they said he was? When we go to Jesus for salvation he said we have to belive he died and he rose from the dead altho we have tons of proof still Jesus wants me to belive in the truth. When it comes to it I have to have faith and belive it happened or else I am not saved. I want to make a note as I am going with this that the faith they had was not a important thing to get the mircle, it was that Jesus is asking them to give a deeper faith to get saved. He does the mircle and I think he would of done it without them beliveing in his powers. I say this because the charsmatic camp might try to twist this in to a faith healing event when I think the faith Jesus asked for was a salvation type of faith.
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”
Jesus here seems to not want the news of him spread. He also does something that is easy for him. He opens their eyes and it is their faith that this was done for them. Jesus is not ready to go and let the people know who he is because he does not want to be known for his healing people and the wonders he does, he know people are going to come after him because he does them. Jesus made his point and he did not want the people to make the mircles their reason for them to belive He wants the Jews to see based on the things God told in the old times he is the king of the Jews. Jesus also knew he has more to share and if they killed him before the time Jesus would not of done all he wanted. Jesus does have the say when he was to die because he is sovern yet he knows the people were going to kill him because of things he said.
31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.
How could they not say what the Lord did for them yet it was a sin because they did not obey the Lord. Sin is anytime I disobey the bible at this time. If Jesus in my heart said to do it I got to do it. Jesus does have a will for me and if I do not do it then it is sin. If I cross a line in my heart I am sinning. Jesus is the commander and he is a good one and what Jesus said goes all the time every time.
