Court and confessing sins

I feel the need to make a few comments about some of the events going on in the land in the last weeks. I want to talk about the freedoms the courts in this land are protecting or not from my prospective. Last week the high court in this land told us that they can kick one out of their home so they can make the business make tax income. I am shocked and think this is a bad ruling and it gives the government the right they are not to have that is taking a home and smashing it to make more. I am one that values rights of the people and the government ought not take anything away from the people. If you want to buy land then you own it and the government has no rights to it no matter what without a fait market price sold. If they want your land they need to pay for it. It is sick to see freedoms gone. On the posting of God’s laws it need to be a thing where you can post them. If you do not believe in God to bad. We are founded on the commands and we ought to follow them as laws. If you’re going to disobey the Lord you’re going to have to pay for it in the end. I think the commands belong in every place possible and we all go by them. If we fail as a land to follow the word of the maker he is going to trash the nation. On one more thing I think one needs to pay for mp3s. I think the free music thing is not right and ought be stopped. The singers are allowed to give them out on their sites but not others that do not own the songs. If I own the song fine I can work with it. If you do not own it then you are in my mind to not listen to it. If you want to make it ok to have it on one pc fine use it. If you think it is ok to download other music I think your not following the commands of the Lord.

I want to give you in our lesion the sure way to make a clean heart. I have talked a lot on my blog on things we are to do to be right as people that Love Jesus. Friends I mess up and I am not right in my walk. I break the commands I seek to keep and I am a sinner. Here is tonight’s text.

1 Jn 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.[1]

It is a important thing in the Christians life to know he is saved but not a perfect man. John tells us that we are to confess our sins and not lie about the sins that we have. If we confess our sins then we can be forgiven and made right with Jesus. It is a major thing to the Lord that we know that we are sinners because then we wee fall on Jesus and he can forgive and he can forget and yes Jesus forgets sins that you confess. If you bring them up to him he will tell you he cannot recall them. Jesus forgives us totally and he will not know them.
This and many thing I talk about on this blog do not apply if your not saved and if you want to be saved and know the Lord go the left column

Accept the weaker brother

If I am wrong and there is no God no big deal but if there is a God your going to be judged and sent to the flames of hell. That is a reason to make your life right in Jesus tonight or today. Friend the thing is there is a God and He is going to allow the folks in that made Jesus God to them and got saved. If your not saved your hell bound. Hell lasts forever and one time you get in you are never leaving and you’re fit to burn there forever and ever. Jesus is not going to save folks that made the call to reject him and his offer. So I want to look to the word tonight on the issue of accepting the weak and being strong in the Lordf

14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of it; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; 17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.[1]

Paul is talking in tonight’s passage about the unclean and the clean things of the world and himself. Paul is talking to a Jewish people that did not like some of the thing a Christian would do or the Christian would do something a weaker brother would not think was right. Paul talks about this so here is the point Paul is making and that is the Lord might cause one to not think something is not sin when it is not clear. Example If I have a friend that thinks for him rock music or secular music is wrong and he is convicted to only listen to hymns I am to make sure I support his claim and honor him and not tempt him by playing rock in his company. If I do play music he thinks is sin then I am not obeying the Lord and that is wrong. If he tells me that make him stumble then I am to help him in his walk grow deeper in the Lord and not make him stumble. It is my thinking that music is ok whatever the type so outside of his company it is ok to play music I enjoy.

Another example I go into a ton if I have a conviction on election and another person does not have the same conviction then I am not to argue but take the word and allow them to have their stand. I think that election is a part of salvation yet my friend thinks it does not. I guess if it does not mean the bible and the basic stand of salvation is in question I hold my argument. However in this I may not work in partnership if the issue is a big one. I do not work with people that teach Salvation is not forever. I do not work with the churches that do not hold convictions they need to. I do not think the rosary is a thing a Christian ought to pray so if you do I am not going to work and promote that kind of thing.
What is the kingdom of God it is righteousness being right with God and peace meaning the war with the Christian and the Lord is over and Joy is the Holy Ghost. I think the Holy Ghost is a key that I am going to take some time and study and get to know better. He is so worthy of my heart and he fills me up and brings me a life of Joy and heaven right here in the time I am living

Lots of commands to think on tonight

12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.[1]

I am into the commands of the Lord and the bible. I want to work on this passage and go into the many things we are called to do. In 12 we are called the elect of God. It means God selected us to be his on his terms. We are selected out of the pool of the human race. We are holy and we are loved so in response Paul is going to tell me how to live and love. 1 I put on tender mercies and love. 2 we seek to be kind and humble in our relations and life. 3 I bear others burdens and forgive as Jesus forgave me. Jesus forgave me all my sins I ought to forgive every sin that is committed toward me. Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount that I am to forgive before I even pray. Jesus is not going to restore me to his side if I do not restore and forgive others. I am also to carry others problems. I am not to carry my own because Jesus wants to carry them. If I have complaints I ought to forgive and let them go. The thing I need to do is love above all. If I do not love I am not going to be anything in my work for Jesus.

I am to allow the Lord to dwell in my heart and fill my mind with the bible. If I am not in the bible I am not going to be anything in the Lord because I have to have my heart filled in the word and the word in my heart. I listened to a sermon today about the walking in the Spirit and it is key to have the bible in my mind so the Holy Spirit to bring something to mind. If I am not in the bible the Spirit is not going to have stuff to work with and we won’t be filled. I do think it is the Spirit is going to bring conviction if we are not in the word. If we are not in the bible I think we need to pray and get focused on the walk. If I am in fellowship then I am going to overflow with Joy knowing that I am the Lords and my heaven is set.
I am told to do everything in the Lord and commit it to the Lord. I am to have a thankful life in all I am doing. I am thankful for the Lords word and the Lords provision in my life.

Leader are wiser than us

Kids that think I am nuts for telling you some were chosen to get salvation I am going to state it like this. God said he choose you before time began. If you write in my class there is no such thing as Calvinism your going to fail. I am not going to state what I do not believe but I see it both ways and stand on the right said of Calvinism. I think free will is not in the bible yet I won’t deny it in theory. It is a hard call to make and one time here on the Shadman blog I am going to detail this out in the bible. But I will leave this to think on as you tremble before God that is Holy and Righteous.

Eph 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.[1]

I am on the commands of the bible and focused on that right now. There is a ton of them to do so I am not sure how long or far I am going to keep at them. It might be years and I might not go all the though the list in one shot. And you want to here what is going on in my life too. Work is well and I got a bigger check then I thought I was going to get. It is enough and I hope to get more hours there soon yet I trust the Lord for all I am going to ever get. It is all his provision and I am enjoying it as I am told to in the word. Lets look tonight at another thing the Bible tells us to do.

Ex 18 1 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.[2]
Here is the command tonight; we are to select wise rulers to have the rule over us. It is wise I want to take some time to talk on tonight. I think the first thing to consider is the truth that aq wise man is a man of God. I do not want to have a man that Love Jesus rule in a church or have a thing over me in my faith. He must be filled with wisdom and I think he ought to be older in the faith than I am. I think the issue is who leads the church. If one that leads a church is not a man of the bible and of prayer what good is he. In the New Testament we find a lot is said about the leaders and the pastor. It is as high calling to lead a church. If he is in any sin or rebelling he is not fit to lead the Body. He must be a married man to lead the church and he must be a man that has a lady. He must be above the people. He must not have a temper and he must not drink and form of booze. I think it is important to elect this kind to a church board and to a pastor.

God wants us to enjoy the gift of life

It is Monday and times to feel bad for not working harder on typing and getting the blog bigger. I am getting some hits but who cares. I need to be here all I am able. I want to talk tonight about a command that I think tends to be overlooked in some Christians Lives. Here is the text for tonight.

Ecc. 9 7Go, eat your bread with joy,
And drink your wine with a merry heart;
For God has already accepted your works.
8 Let your garments always be white,
And let your head lack no oil.
9 Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun.[1]

This is taken from the wise saying of the book of Solomon. He was the man in the bible that got to get fro God anything he wanted and instead of money or fame he took wisdom. God wants to give us wisdom and we get it in the bible. Here in the book we are told how to handle things and gifts from the Lord. We are to be happy and filled with joy because we are given much to enjoy. God gives me many things and events to be happy in and I think I want to be cheerful and a happy camper. It must be hard for a non-Christian to come to Jesus when he sees sad Christians. We need to be happy and joyful because we have all there is and we need to be happy to show the world to come and know Jesus and he grace and love.

Taking a look at the passage tonight. In verse 9 we see that God has accepted our work. In Jesus we are so loved and accepted. If you are saved then you have in you everything you will ever need to be in the Lords camp. We were saved in Jesus and Jesus gave us everything. I need to show you this in Eph 1:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.[2]

I could spend a month detailing the passage and unpacking it but I am not going to. Point is your accepted in Christ and you can be happy in him for his work in you. I also want to point out that it is good to enjoy the work and the money you make at work. We are given life to enjoy and the Lord to enjoy. In the work we do it is fine to get things to enjoy. I love my computer and use it for fun and news. I saved the cash up to use to get it. I am going to get a laptop one day to enjoy. I love the bible software I use to put this blog together. I like to read mail and it is a provision but God lets me enjoy to fruit of work. I like to travel and see friends. I use the gifts the Lord gave me to do that with. It is a good thing to enjoy things knowing that the Lord gives them all to me. If you have a wife you are to enjoy her and Love her. I do not have a wife but I think the Lord for the friends I have to.

Live to Enjoy all and be happyShad

God and Global warming

Is there a solid case for Global warming? I think there is a debate but there is no solid proof. However if you want the bible say on it the bible said the earth is going to burn up and this is going to end life, as we know it. It is sad that people do not care about the truth of the bible in this even when it is a truth that can convert a person. If you stand on the side of no God then you’re not going to like this truth. God is going to burn the world as we know it up and then make a new earth that I will live in because of my relationship with the Lord Jesus. If you’re wrong you spend all time after death in hell. If I am wrong I lose nothing. I am not wrong about the Lord Jesus and global warming. It is like I said a part of the end times as is all the wars and the famines in the earth at this time. Many clear things in the bible are happing and you better take note because the end is going to happen and Jesus is going to be back and your going to face him. It does not matter if you’re a Muslim or a man that thinks there is no God, you still face a lifetime without Jesus if you die with out him. If you’re a man that does not belive in Jesus your in deep fire and you need to we think it. Jesus is going to come and end this world and if you’re not on his side you’re not going to like forever without him. Jesus is going to give you the choice not to accept him. But then you go to hell.

Here is a little thing to think on

Prov 5 15 Drink water from your own cistern,
And running water from your own well.
16 Should your fountains be dispersed abroad,
Streams of water in the streets?
17 Let them be only your own,
And not for strangers with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
And rejoice with the wife of your youth.
19 As a loving deer and a graceful doe,
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
And always be enraptured with her love.[1]

He is talking about sex in this passage. God wants you to have your own wife and enjoy her sex and not another. You are to rejoice in your wife that you picked in your youth. Her body is to be yours forever. God gave you a wife as a gift and you ought to Love her and treat her as your own and make her a queen. It is never righteous to have sex outside the God Given marriage. Now I do not think it is right for a man to live outside marriage if he is called to it. It is not good for a pastor to not have a wife and kids. To me a wife is a gift of God and if he does not give me a wife then the Lord is right in that. I want to enjoy a Christian wife. God has to bring me to her and the one that he has for me.

Sports is sinful?

I am not happy with Ben’s talk that sports are not godly. First of all I am taking his comments and not agreeing with any off them. Ben said that he wants the protection of the bible in his views and I am just not going to give it because his belief is not right. Jesus would go to a game and he would see them. In my bible we are compared to a runner of a race and a player. To say that there are no lesions in the game of baseball like enduring is stupid and shocking. Ben to hide in the Christian liberty in this is wrong and not what it is there for. Liberty is given for the things that are black and white. To also say one can not have a mind that is right and see sports is so like trash. You are bashing every fan that is a Christian and it was not proper to state that in church. I know of folks that heard the Gospel from people that play games and gave their lives to Jesus. I am one of them and for that alone the Christians that think sports are wrong are not right in any possible way.

Here is a passage to think about in this topic

Romans 14 Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.

I am to accept one that has weak faith. I am to accept them that see a sport as a sin per say. I am to see if it offends them I am not to throw it at them because it is not right to do. If to you lets say baseball is wrong and that is the Lords word to you I am not to tempt you by asking you to watch a game with me. Maybe I am wrong in this and not being a good brother. It seems a bit weird to me but if I am going to obey the bible this is to be my thing is to help Ben honor the Lord in this way.

For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. 3 Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. 4 Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.[1]

I am not to make the rule for a servant of God if he is saved and going to heaven and serving the Lord is his boss not me. In the other hand he ought not see it his job to make me agree with him in this issue. So I am to agree to help him grow in not tempting him to do to what to him is sin. Jesus is the one that will make the call on us and I ought to leave it to him in this matter. I am not to make the call and Judge in this case. It is not my call to make it is the Lords. It is the meaning not Judge but not be Judged is in this. I am to judge false faith and I do not think this is a case of false faith but a case of a personal conviction as I have the conviction not to work on the Lords Day.

Cast our cares on Jesus

Well I am going to work in one more messages tonight but before I do I am going to comment on the Michael Jackson mess. I am not happy that man got off on the things he did. Why is a man sleeping with all the kids that he does and not get in jail for it. Like one of the folks said on the news tonight he is a freak. MJ is not a good man. BTW I saw him on his bad concert tour with my uncle. It was a good concert when he played the Met here in MN. It was his bad tour so at one time I did like him and I think he was a good player. I sat in ok seats. He was not the freak he is today and I hope he repents and gets saved. Even he need to come and meet Jesus and get saved. He might become a Muslim and I covered them on this blog before. They are not good. Peter was telling me the army is handling the Koran better than the Bible. Well on this blog I handle the bible and the true God and no one else.

! Peter 5 7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.[1]

Tonight’s topic is casting all your worry on the Lord Jesus. One has said that if your worried you ought to give your need to the Lord and go to sleep. Jesus does not sleep thus he has the time to care about what troubles you in life. Casting means to throw like if you were to have a blanket put on you. If you cast you would throw off things that worry you. The bible is clear that we are not to worry about anything but we are to pray about things. But lets back up to 6 and talk about how we need to be humble and know that God is going to exults you in your time. God is the big one and your not. Friend I think we alone are not able to handle some of the things we bump into in life. For me it was the loss of my job. The week I let go and gave it to Jesus I found a job and the Lord has to teach me that I needed to place it into his hands.

It is the second truth in the verse that Jesus cares for you. What a blessed thing to know we are loved by Jesus and he is the lover of our soul. I think this is a main theme in me that Jesus loves me and cares about every part of life. Jesus said this in his life and teaching. Here is a sample of the truth that God loves you…

Psalms 34 15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.[2]

Psalms 103 13 As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
14 For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.[3]
I think it is sweet love to know we are not a thing in him and he Loves us in pity and makes us his own. He knows where we are from and then he chooses to love some of us and save us from hell.

26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Love of Jesus so clearly taught and known in Jesus life
Mathew 10 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.[4]
He knows all about you and loved you and died for all your sins. What love is this?

Psalms 40 7 But I am poor and needy;
Yet the Lord thinks upon me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
Do not delay, O my God.[5]

Jesus knows my needs and is going to help me

Shadman

What dwells inside the Christian

Welcome to my Blog tonight and the study of the Loving God of this planet. I like to write my times with Jesus and tonight I am going with the series I am working on in my blog called the commands of God. I am in this to find out the things I am commanded to do at a Christian and a lover of the Lord Jesus. If you do the commands you show Jesus you love him right? So I am just going into things to prove we love him. I am not saying doing anything is going to save you but if you are saved your going to live your life making the commands a thing you learn and do.
I want to make it to 2 commands in this entry. Here is my first text tonight.
Exodus 24 8 and let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.
It is in the Old Testament but I think it is a good reminder for me tonight that I am the dwelling place for the Lord. I am the place God dwells and I became that place when Jesus came into my heart. Jesus is God and thus God picked me to dwell in and be worshiped by. Jesus did not in the time this was written live within the heart of man but now he does. If you reading this email or blog have made Jesus lord of your life you now are the place where he is. This has some things to think about. We need to take care of the temple and consider our flesh as holy. We need to work it out and exercise, we need to eat right and we need to rest it. Also we need to watch what we do with our body. Do we fill it with moral trash by what I feed the mind. Are my ears hearing good music and things that lift up the Lord or trash? Are we watching things that will make us think good things and pure things of the Lord? Here is a verse to help us in the thought life
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
I think I worked on this one in my blog.
Lets treat our bodies and minds as temples or dwelling places for Jesus the king of the world.
Shadman
I have tons of things on my blog that you all ought to put in your bookmarks and look at sometimes.

Help out the poor

Got home from Rochester tonight. It is always a good thing to go home and see Rochester. In church Pastor talked on the truth that we cannot lose our Heaven and our salvation. I know that and sometime I am going to dive into this in length and show you all the passages that point to this truth. I just might get the tape of the sermon because it was so good.

I want to think on the commands of the bible. Here is tonight’s command

Ps 82 4 Deliver the poor and needy;
Free them from the hand of the wicked.[1]

We are to help the poor and needy. In the time I have been in the church people have helped me out. Either with food or rides or whatever. It is a blessing but the thing for me is how am I in the area of helping the poor and the needy. First thing I think of is the truth that without a relationship and a home in heaven one is truly poor and very needy. Salvation I heard Macarthur say one time is the best thing to give because when one is saved they have the Lord to give them the needs they have. But sometimes the Lord wants us to lend to the poor and give to the Lord and help the poor. Many are poor in the world in this time. I am not poor for the reason that I am taken care of with the government and I have all my needs met in Jesus. Also the government takes care of me. It is a blessing the Lord has given to me to keep myself out of the slum.

So the first thing I think is to set time to share Jesus with all you know. Then I think we all ought to set aside some money to go just to help the poor. Maybe pay in to the fellowship or deacon’s fund at our church. We could give money to Compassion International. We also can give to the Salvation Army or local food shelves. But it is a thing we need to do for the Lord.

Here are some things the bible tells us to do

Proverbs 14 31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker,
But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.[2]

Proverbs 19 17 He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord,
And He will pay back what he has given.[3]
God id going to give back to him what you give to the poor. Loaning the Lord money is a wise thing to do because he is going to give it back to you. Part of the storing things in heaven thing huh? Give to the Lord and he is going to bless you. Tithe and you are going to be blessed to. It is the bible.

Proverbs 27 He who gives to the poor will not lack,
But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.[4]

Proverbs 31 She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.[5]
A Christian gal is going to reach out to folks and help out.

James 2 5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7 Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?[6]

So tonight’s thing is find some way to bless the poor and be rich in Jesus

Serve the Lord unselfishly

Well Praise the Lord and lets go right into the word tonight. I am going to look at a command the book called serving but I want to call the way we serve the Lord and we are to be humble. I work from this passage

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”[1]

Jesus has just been asked to give the seats he has to James and John. They want to be in power. Jesus response is one that said that we must serve to be great in the kingdom of God. Jesus is the example when he went to the cross and served us first in dieing in the cross. Jesus set the example in the last supper when he took the towel and washed the feet of the 12. Jesus wants us to serve him and he wants us to be like him and serve in humble ways. The command tonight is a call also to unselfish service to the Lord. Jesus is the example we look to because he was so unselfish. Lets look at some more examples of this Unselfish service.

Mark 4 But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. 35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” 36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”[2]

Note that Jesus takes a child and shows that we need to have time for kids. If you got time for kids your time is unselfish I think. If we do not have time for kids do we have time for Jesus and are we being a unselfish servent of Jesus.

Romans 15 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.[3]

Here the command is for the strong. We if we are strong ought to bear with the weak and help the weak in faith grow. We are to help weaker brothers so they grow deep in the Lord and in that we grow.

I close with the next verse in Romans
Romans 15 3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.[4]

Need I say more on this

Unite in Love

It is only 2 nights till I start work. I know it is going to go well and I am ready as ever. I am sick of TV and nothing really to do. It is going to be nice to serve and work hard. It is a nice thing to look forward to the Job.

In my series of Commands of the Lord we are going to look at being united in Jesus. If we are fighting then we need to stop and know that we serve a God that is a Lord that is order. God has a book and tells people to obey it, thus my notion for the series I am in but we are to obey the commands of God and live for him

Here is the bible passage tonight
Phil 2 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.[1]

We are to fill the Joy of Paul and have like-mindedness. We are to find things to agree on and love each other. Friend this is a hard thing for me to live is and it is a command that I need to live better. I sometimes look for the things that are separating the Church and focus on them and thus not like the oneness Jesus asks of my life in Paul.

I am to have the same love for all believers. What is the Christians love to be like? I am to love you in a way that is willing to die if need be for you. I am to sacrifice and love you deeper. I am not to favor but I am to love all deeply and sacrifice for anyone.

I am to be of ONE MIND. We are loved by Jesus and all over the world we can go to churches that preaches the Love of Jesus. Friends I do not think some in the Church can unite because of doctrines. I do not think I am to drop a thing that the bible is clear on to unite, that is not right to me. I am to find the truth and defend the truth and find a church that teaches like-minded teaching. With that I am able to go anywhere and unite in the family of God. There are some that might teach some things that I do not think is right yet I am called to love them in the name of Jesus.

We are to be selfless and filling the needs of others. It is living with others and the truth we have that makes us be humble. It means we try to teach the truth and reach others in a humble way. I need to work on this like I say. I need to be of one mind and Love the people in my church and the Lord deeper

Get rid of evil NOW

If I had a Koran and I could I would burn it because it is full of lies and bad things. It is a sin to like it and a sin to like it. We are told in the BIBLE not to like or even hint anything evil. I think it is evil to do lots of things in this day. It is evil to look at porn and to do drugs. It is evil to make anything or anyone a God except the Lord Jesus. ALL other faiths and creeds to the bible are evil. Friend it is evil to lie and to steal and to hate in any form and to disobey your parents. ANYTHING THAT MAKES JESUS NOT SUPREAME IS EVIL. If you believe in evolution your evil and if you break any commands your evil.

Tonight’s command gives me the demand to hate evil. I also am to abstain from any form of evil. If I do any sin I am not perfect and evil is in my heart, Here is the passage to think about tonight.

1 thes. 5 22 Abstain from every form of evil.[1]

It is a clear order from Jesus though Paul. Do not be a part of evil. Do not be a part of this world that is anti God and Anti God. It is not that hard to do. But if we live it folks are going to wonder and think we are weird won’t they. They are going to see we do not drink or go to bars after work. They are going to wonder why we do not think the dirty joke is funny. They come to my home and find no porn or no trash on my TV set. No porn movies and no drugs. Drugs are evil so is porn. I do not want to view things Jesus cannot watch with me. I do not want to live and go places the Lord cannot go. Jesus said he is not going to leave you but if your in a place that is filled with sin and you Love him I wonder if in some ways we leave him places we go that he told us not to.

SO if you’re evil what ought you do? You stop it. If your saved stop evil acts. If your not saved, then you need to be saved and you ask the Lord Jesus to forgive you and ask him to live in a righteous way. If you keep acting in the evil and just think you can clean up after it confession your lying and you need to stop living that way. Jesus did not save us so we can live like hell, he saved us to live to his glory and if we do not we are not living right and we ought to make sure we are saved. God does not live in you for nothing get your heart right and live for Jesus Christ because friend you’re going to be called on your life.
All Life change is in the spirit I know that well. But you make sure you do your part and that is your clean and confessed all your sins. Use your head and make righteous choices. If your sin is drugs stop them and get help. Stop hanging out with friends that cause you to do the drugs. God will help you if you do part. If your in sexual sin then break it off with any partner and never see them again. If your sin is a idol burn it to the ground and never go to it again. If your saved your not to go to sinful hangouts. God is not going to bless you if your not trying. There are friends in my life I cannot be with because they bring my walk down and mock Jesus Christ

Command Abide or stay in Jesus

I want to look at the Lord Jesus and the command to abide in the Lord. Jesus is the one that made the command and we look to him for all we need. We need Jesus so much in our walk. Without Jesus we as the saints are never going to get anything right unless we abide in Jesus. Here are tonight’s passages. We have a few

John 15 . 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.[1]

Abide means to stay with or to keep going with. We are to stay with the Lord Jesus and keep living for him. We are a branch that if we are not abiding in Jesus we are powerless to live for him and obey anything he commands me to do. I need to stay in the Lord Jesus and build my life in him and on him. Jesus makes more of this term known in his talking in the book of John.

John 1 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”[2]

If you abide in the word of the Lord Jesus you are one of his. If you stay with it and stay working for Jesus, then you show your Jesus follower and you love him tons. If means that you need to do this to show you are a part of the body. Keep going to Church, keep reading the bible and praying and you will abide in Jesus.

I want to make this known, abiding in Jesus is some of your job but it mainly is trusting in the Lord for all you need and have. If you remain and obey Jesus I think he is going to live in me and in my heart. I am not caught up in being fearful I am going to walk from Jesus because I trust him with my soul. Yet I am called to live and abide in Jesus and keep on keeping on. It is not a condition of salvation but it is a proof that you love Jesus and serve him. Abide in Jesus in 4 ways. Read the Bible, Pray, Go to church and find some good Christians to hold your feet to the fire. You do this and live hard for Jesus you are going to obey him
