Hey what’s up? I am going to do the baptism studies and then we will talk them over on bible night tues. I am sorry for the thoughts on the issue but you know me it might take some time to look over the things and decide for me what is the right thing to do. I have had a lots of thinking on this. I do not think that the baptism thing is a saving act. I think it is a way to id with the people of faith. I think in comparing it as to tithing however. I do not tithe and feel it is necessary thing but a good idea. Dude you know me that I am going to look into the issue and get the Bibles prospective on it. I am going to look over the things you sent and I am going to pray much over the matter. I ought to pray in all matters. I do not want you to think I am something I am not and that is one that adds to the Blood of Jesus for salvation. I do and hear me know Jesus blood alone is the payment of all sins forever and he is the one who we must obey and allow to teach us in any matter

I am going to get into the word now. I am in Romans 15
15 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
In the last chapter Paul went over the weak and strong believe and how to deal with both. If one is strong he ought to accept the weak brothers. Like if I am out with a believer that thinks it is wrong to drink and I think it is ok then I go by the one that said it is wrong. If it is a thing I feel the Lord tells me it is wrong in my soul it is wrong. To some I talked some on it is a sin to work on the Sabbath and they are not to do it. If it is a sin to you it is a sin and you ought not do it, If rock music is sinful do not listen to it. I am not convinced of that but I am not going to be stuck on the music thing or anything but doctrine because the bible means something’s and I am forsake the meaning of things in the bible to unite with people that are not on target. I like this verse and I am finding a meaning that I am not to be selfish in this book. I am to put others first and work to meet others needs. I think this is the start of loving one another. I need to work on not pleasing me all the time and work at being man that pleases the Lord by pleasing others. I live for Jesus and I want to make him my only one I please but I am to look out for others and love them to.
2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”
I want to build up my neighbor and help him grow deeper in his walk with the Lord. I in my walk should make it a goal to help others grow deeper into Jesus and make my Lord lifted up so others want to Love the Lord and make him their focus. Jesus did this even. Jesus was so unselfish centered. He focused on the Lord God and prayed long times then he would come and meet need of the people. In the Last supper Jesus washed the feet, a job that was rather mundane yet Jesus did it. In the healings Jesus met the needs of the people and at times he was rather kind in his time. Jesus was always in the will of the Lord God and he was there for God. Look at the basic salvation on the cross Jesus did not want to do it as in the garden he said not my will but thine yet the awesome thing is Jesus did it to meet needs of people to the end of his life. We ought to just fall on that love and even now Jesus wants to handle our life and that is really a way he is unselfish and living to please us. I just think it is a awesome thing that the Lord Jesus wants to handle my life and invites me to rest fully on him for all my needs and desires. It is not a burden to love Jesus because he loves me so much more.
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In truth I think I would of not cut the chapters the same as the person who did. I think verse 6 is a mini chapter and starts an encouraging thing. For whatever things that were written for our learning is the Old Testament? I think we can apply it to the new. The entire bible is good to know and read because it teaches the mind of the Lord God. I realize the parts of history that might be in the bible and you need to know the people that they are written to. Yet the bible as a whole deserves my time and all of it will be the mind of the Lord. For a Christian the Lord gives all the needed info and does not leave us to guess who he is. God wanting to know me left me a bible and a mind to read it and a love for him. He is my lover and I want to know him thus I am going to read all his books and know him. In all the books there is meaning and hope and love. Psalms are the best for depressed minds, Proverbs give much wisdom and strength and Job brings suffering and meaning to life. The history parts shows the power and love of the Lord for the people he helps and I am not to sure what the minor prophets are on but I am going to find out.
Now the blessing. May the God of comfort and Patience, what a thing to think about how the Lord is all that to you and me. He is a Lord that loves me and in the hard times wants to be there for me. I think the reason is so we can help others in their needs and honor him. God is good and to be a like him he wants me to love his people and bless them to. We are to be of one mind. Jesus in here wants us to get along and love others in the faith that might be weak and Love all his kids. The reason for the whole uniting thig is the honor of Jesus and to love him and serve him and to make Jesus known.

the best of blog
I got 2 blogs so I get to do what I want. So this for a while will give you old things I wrote. I want to go after things that matter and topics I covered and want to remind you off and important junk that I need to repeat
Salvation depends not on my works it is all on Jesus. My hope is that Jesus did the work and forgave my sins and if I need forgiveness Jesus has done this all in his blood. To question if I am saved is to slap Jesus in the face and not to trust in his work. If one think his good works are reason or proof they are not right. Salvation is a one time act forever. Here is the verse I am pointing to. I am going to work on them for a few notes here and then they will be on record for me both to point to and to show others that nail me in time on this.
So Assureance of salvation is:
By Faith in Jesus alone.
Eph 3 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.1
When we come and get saved and confess Jesus as our own we can come bold to the Lord and ask what we need. We are given the faith and the boldness when we are saved. If your not sure your lacking the truth. Set in stone the faith is there and your going to God in the right way and that is boldly.
Hebrews 10 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful2
We are commanded to draw close to Jesus with assurance. We got to stop questioning and start knowing we are saved. Jesus is the issue here. I am placing my trust and all of it on Jesus as he is the one that salvation depends on after I am saved. If Jesus did not come to save me and we can know it then why ought we trust. Salvation is on Jesus and not on us. If it were up to me to keep Jesus I would not last a day in my faith. So thank Jesus it is not mine to lose.
1 Thes 1 2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God.3
We can know we have been elected by Jesus and not wonder. If you made Jesus your life then he grants you the knowlage that your his and not your owns. Jesus got you in a payment on the cross so to look to you for hope of salvation is not why your saved. Jesus saved you, you did not save yourself and your faith is also a gift.
1 john 5 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.4
If you are in Jesus your saved. If your not in Jesus your not. If you have placed your faith in Jesus alone for your salvation its a done deal. God wants you to know this and the devil wants you to doubt because then you will not work on Jesus commands and serve him because your doubting if he is real. Also if your not sure then your not going to win the lost and have a life for that. I think this is where I take people that doubt
col 2 11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.5
Jesus forgave ALL your sins and he made you alive together. When you place your trust in Jesus all is gone. Past sins and all sins. Future sins are forgive and you stand in absolute just as you never sinned before Jesus. He paid for all sin on the cross. It is not in the books because God took the eracer to your record and he nailed the charge to the Lord on the cross. God took the devil and beat him good on the cross and gave us victory and full payment of all our sins. We were with no hope until Jesus gave his blood on the cross.
One more passage tonight
Rom 5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.6
We sinners were at war with God and headed for hell and this passage said that the war is over for the saved. We have peace because God has sent Jesus to justified us. We can rejoice in Jesus and his hope. Compare Gods thoughts on this passage
ps 7 1 God is a just judge,
And God is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If he does not turn back,
He will sharpen His sword;
He bends His bow and makes it ready.
13 He also prepares for Himself instruments of death;
He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.7
