No Jesus died for all?

What to go to. I go one way and I am going to sound like I am not going anywhere where pepole think I need to go. I think I am going to go this way and if we go to far into the love issue then I deal with it. I wanted to put some things on here that showed what we calvinist do not go for and I could not find the thing on the net. I am not going to drag on and on on this topic I want to go into John and other things and I said lent was the time for calvin and I am keeping to that. I need to hit three points and I am not even hit them hard but I might come back to them at another time. I am going to touch limited atonement in maybe 2 nights and I am going just at the end give links and a survey. I am going to really put a report that is not my work and perhaps make points. I do not know where we are going tonight and we might go here and think Limited Atonement has nothing to it and we might think we got to dive into it and we just might thing it is nothing.
SO here is the article and Lets just see where we like this and do not
The doctrine of Limited Atonement (or Particular Redemption) is probably the most controversial of the doctrines of grace and most difficult to accept by many believers. Limited Atonement states that Christ's redeeming work was intended to save the elect only, and actually secured salvation for them. His death was the substitutionary endurance of the penalty of sin in the place of certain specified sinners. In addition to putting away the sins of His people, Christ's redemption secured everything necessary for their salvation; including faith which unites them to Him. The gift of faith is infallibly applied by the Spirit to all for whom Christ died, therefore guaranteeing their salvation.
Scriptural Support:Exodus 4:21, 14:4, 8, 17; Deuteronomy 2:30, 9:4-7, 29:4; Joshua 11:19; 1 Samuel 2:25, 3:14; 2 Samuel 17:14; Psalm 105:25; Proverbs 15:8, 26, 28:9; Isaiah 53:11; Jeremiah 24:7; Matthew 1:21, 11:25-27, 13:10-15, 44-46, 15:13, 20:28, 22:14, 24:22; Luke 8:15, 13:23, 19:42; John 5:21, 6:37, 44, 65, 8:42-47, 10:11, 14, 26-28, 11:49-53, 12:37-41, 13:1, 18, 15:16, 17:2, 6, 9, 18:9, 37; Acts 2:39, 13:48, 18:27, 19:9; Romans 9:10-26, 11:5-10; 1 Corinthians 1:18-31, 2:14; 2 Corinthians 2:14-16, 4:3; Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 2:1-10; Colossians 2:13; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-14; 2 Timothy 2:20, 25; Titus 2:14; Hebrews 1:3, 14, 2:9, 16 (cp. Galatians 3:29, 4:28-31), 9:28; 1 Peter 2:8; 2 Peter 2:7; 1 John 4:6; Jude 1, 14; Revelation 13:8, 17:8, 15-18, 21:27.
In the bible list here the EX talked about God harding Pharohah
Look at Matt 11 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. 26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.1
I want to just hit this passage because there is a hidden from thing. Jesus does hide his truth drom people and this is a argument for this topic.
Matt 20 28 27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”2
For all no it said here for many.
Matt 22 14 many called few chosen
Luke 8 14 good soil consept
Luke 13 23 Are there only a few
luke 19 42 things hidden from your eyes
John 8 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”3
Key passage I think in John. First Folk were not able to get the truth because Jesus said the devil is working do they do not. If all can get saved why hide this truth? Some do not hear because he who hears did not hear because the people were not from God.
The first thing to consider is the purpose of Christ's death. Hebrews 10:9 says that Jesus came to do the will of the Father. So it follows that the purpose of His death was to accomplish the Father's will. But what was the Father's will in the death of Christ? It was shown from Scripture in the previous article on the doctrine of unconditional election that it was the purpose of the Father to choose some for salvation, not make salvation a potential for all based on the exercise of free will, which is totally corrupted and depraved by sin. If, then, Christ came to fulfill the purpose of the Father; and it was not the purpose of the Father to elect some to salvation rather than all; then it logically follows that it was not the purpose of Christ to die for all men.
In the covenant of grace, the Father chose a people, Christ promised to die for them, and the Spirit pledged Himself to apply salvation to their hearts. In Isaiah 53:10-12 it says: "But the LORD was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; by His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the booty with the strong; because He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors."
Christ foresaw the suffering and agony that He would have to endure, and yet, He was content with it, for He realized that by His death, everyone for whom He died would be redeemed from sin. Now if Christ died for all men, and some for whom He died ended up going to hell anyway, then Christ could not have foreseen the suffering and agony of His soul and been satisfied. He would have been disappointed because His efforts would not have been sufficient to save everyone for whom He died. Therefore, the atonement Christ made for the sins of His people was limited in purpose; not in its value, but in its purpose, for it was designed for the elect of God.
If Jesus died for a sinner that did not repent his death is wasted because the sinner is not going to take. In the choice God makes all the blood is used and none is wasted. It is a waste of the blood of Jesus if he died and no one claims it.
The second point to consider is that the purpose of the death of Christ was to save His people from their sins. That is clearly stated for us in Matthew 1:21: "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." This passage did not say that He would save the whole world, nor did it say that He should try to save His people; but that He would save His people from their sins. If that was the prophecy given concerning the birth of Jesus Christ and the purpose for which He came, we must surely know that which was determined by the Father was fulfilled by His faithful Son. Luke 19:10 supports this point: "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." If that then was His purpose; He accomplished that very thing.
Thirdly, the purpose of Jesus' death was to bring the elect to glory. Romans 8:28-30 says: "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified." In John 17 is the prayer of intercession made by the Lord Jesus. In verse 2 He prayed, "Even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life." Note that eternal life was not for all men, but those that were given to Him by the Father. In verse 9 He continues: "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours;". It would not be reasonable that Christ would limit His prayers to those given to Him by the Father, and at the same time die for all men, knowing very well that many would not be saved. He prayed for those for whom He died, and He died for those given Him by the Father. His purpose then was not to save the entire human race, for if that had been His purpose He would have accomplished it. Christ is the Almighty and accomplishes everything He intends to do. It was His purpose to save only the elect of God, and His purpose was fulfilled.
Christ died for His sheep, and because of this none can be lost. In John 10:10-11 He said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep." And in verse 28 He continues: "I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand." (Notice that He does not offer them eternal life.) Jesus died for the sheep, and He gives eternal life to everyone for whom He died. Christ did not come to attempt to save men; He came to redeem His people. He purged their sins and then sat down on the right hand of His Father. (Hebrews 10:12)
As was stated at the beginning, there are many who find this doctrine hard to accept and so object to it. Nonetheless it is truth that is taught in the Word of God. There are many objections that are raised, and this article will only deal with some of the main ones. One of the first things objectors usually refer to is the use of the word "world" in the Scriptures, and the first passage that is always read is John 3:16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16 simply states that the design of God's love, that all who believe in Christ should be saved by Him. These believers in their unregenerate state are scattered abroad among the Gentiles as well as among the Jews, and so are fitly described by the word "world." Of course, there are those who reject this explanation. They may look to Acts 11:18 for support: "When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, 'Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life." But does this mean that every Gentile has been granted repentance, and that every Gentile will be saved? Of course not. What this passage shows is that repentance has been granted to the Gentiles; it simply means that all those of God's elect among the Gentiles shall be given repentance unto salvation. The Jews are not the only ones to be granted this gift. Jews as well as Gentiles have been given repentance, and so it is the same in John 3:16. It does not have reference to every person in the world, but it has reference to men of all nations.
A passage that illustrates this point well is found in Revelation 5:9: "And they sang a new song, saying, 'Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.'" This helps us to understand, in this context, what is meant by the use of the word "world". It means people of every tribe, tongue, and people; that Christ's death was not restricted to the Jews, but that it was for members of the entire human race scattered throughout the earth.
There are several other examples. In John 7:7 the word "world" is used to distinguish unbelievers from believers. In John 12:9 the word "world" is used of a special people. Romans 11:15 uses it to distinguish Gentiles from Jews, and thus so in passages such as John 3:16 and 1:27, 1 John 2:1 and 2 -- it is used of all the elect of God. Hebrews 2:9 says, "But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone." At this point someone may say, "This is Scriptural proof that Christ died for all men." But the context will explain what it means. "For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, 'I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE.'" (Hebrews 2:10-12) When read in context it can be seen that the passage has reference to sons; it has reference to the church; it has reference to the brethren; it has reference to those who are the children of God. So this passage could be understood to say that "Christ has experienced death for every son," for every one that was given to Him by the Father.
What about 2 Peter 2:1? "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves." It must be made clear that these false teachers are unsaved. They are compared to dogs and pigs, not to sheep (2 Peter 2:22). Such people are described in Jude 19 "devoid of the Spirit." If a person does not have the Spirit of God within, he is not a child of God (Romans 8:9). He may appear to be saved and even become a member or an officer in the church, but eventually, in one way or another, he will deny the Lord.
Notwithstanding, this passage is not discussing the atonement of Christ. Peter's first epistle was written to Jews, so most likely was his second one. (1 Peter 1:1; Galatians 2:7) In what sense were these false teachers "bought" by the Lord? To a Jew who was not a Christian "the Lord" would most naturally refer to God the Father, not Jesus. And the Jews were "bought" by God in the Exodus.
One more passage of Scripture to consider is Romans 8:34. It is a clear example of Limited Atonement, or Particular Redemption. It says, "Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us." How could any for whom Christ died be condemned? The law has been fulfilled, justice has been satisfied, sin has been paid for; and so, the Apostle Paul argues that condemnation is impossible. And since condemnation is excluded by His death, then none for whom He died can be condemned. All for whom Christ died, died in Him; thus the law could not again demand their death.
The renowned 19th century British preacher and evangelist Charles H. Spurgeon had these words to say about limited atonement (from his sermon, "The Mission of the Son of Man"):
"Now, some people love the doctrine of 'universal atonement' because they say it is so beautiful. It is a lovely idea that 'Christ should have died for all men'; it commends itself, they say, to the instincts of humanity; there is something in it full of joy and beauty.
"I admit there is; but beauty may be often associated with falsehood.
"There is much which I might well admire in the theory of 'universal redemption' but let me just tell you what this supposition necessarily involves. If Christ on His cross intended to save every man, then He intended to save those who were damned before He died; because if this doctrine (that He died for all men) is true, He died for some that were in hell before He came into this world, for doubtless there were myriads there that had been cast away.
"Once again, if it were Christ's intention to save all men, how deplorably has He been disappointed! For we have His own evidence that there is a lake that burns with fire and brimstone, and into that pit must be cast some of the very people, who according to that theory, were bought with His blood!
"To think that my Savior died for men in hell, seems a supposition too horrible for me to imagine. That He was the substitute for the sons of men, and that God having first punished the substitute, punished these same men again, seems to me to conflict with any idea of justice.
"That Christ should offer an atonement and satisfaction for the sins of all men, and that afterwards, some of those very men should be punished for the same sins which Christ had already atoned for, seems to me, to be the most marvelous monstrosity that ever could have been imputed to Saturn, to Janus, aye, to the god of the Thugs, or the most diabolical heathen demons!
"God forbid that we should ever think thus of Jehovah, the just and wise."
In conclusion, the death of Christ is the foundation of the Christian's hope. But those believing in a general redemption cannot possibly fully enjoy that blessed hope in Christ. They claim to believe in a redeemer who is not completely successful in redeeming the lost; an atonement that falls short of achieving its purpose; thus believing that the death of Christ must be joined with freewill in order to save. Fortunately, Jesus is a Redeemer who does deliver His people from sin; not just tries to deliver His people with the possibility of losing some of them. His grace is thoroughly efficacious in saving the elect, for whom He died. And one elected by the grace of God is bound to come to Him, for it would be then natural for him to do so.

Bible reading and election

By now if you read the things I tend to say here I am not out to be popular and loved. I used to be but I gave up last year when people started actually coming on and trashing my beliefs in the Lord. Good solid people that I once looked to for my walk made the faith out to be a list of rules and people left churchs over it and I told people to leave and I was told not to come back to that church and it was a mess. So much junk happened it hurt so many people and it was a mess. I came out of that and kept my blog even when this jerk pastor told me I was rebelling and telling him so shove it when I worked the bible into my page. I say that to say a few things I think are so important i8n my walk that I am willing to die for them. I am willing to die for Jesus if one asked me to because I am sure where I am going. I am willing to die for my bible and I could not live without it. Catholics have in the past blog that I ought to trust the words of man and I have told them they are off and have not been nice to them. I know people that have used the faith that is given to man and said that popes have the truth. I think that is wrong and many popes are going to hell for the crime of taking Gods holy word away from the common man. I am in a debate right now with a man that I think is a great man and I had it before that he said the bible is the Lord Jesus and it is and I agree with the man and love him to death. I do however in many times over the last 20 years of being a Christian have many times talked to people that do not value the bible and I think have left the faith or they are not what they once were in the faith. I know a man that told me off and I think is not saved and when I knew Chris he did not read his bible as much as he should. I said before I have never met a solid solid out Christian that did not read the bible every day and know it. Never. Now IK do not want to condemn you in any way6 if your saved and you feel that you do not need the bible. I think your young in the faith and you need to grow and the way you do is the word of God and reading the books of John and Psalms are great. If your in the Lord why not just read a book of the bible or get a one year bible and just get into a habit of reading the Love letter Jesus wrote to you.
We now are on a new part of the theology of John Calvin and that is the truth that we are elected by the sheer grace of God and that is undeserved and no merit on our part is required. I am n ot here to debate this I am here to report the bible and what it says in the topic. I am going to give you a definition tonight and go into the bible passages that prove this out next time. I am not debating this I am reporting the things I think in the bible are right. If the bible is right and it always s this is going to be a truth we need to trust. If the bible is not right then we can do whatever we will
ELECTION — the gracious and free act of God by which He calls those who become part of His kingdom and special beneficiaries of His love and blessings. The Bible describes the concept of election in three distinct ways. Election sometimes refers to the choice of Israel and the church as a people for special service and privileges. Election may also refer to the choice of a specific individual to some office or to perform some special service. Still other passages of the Bible refer to the election of individuals to be children of God and heirs of eternal life.
Throughout the history of redemption, election has characterized God’s saving activity. He chose and called Abraham from Ur to Canaan, making an everlasting covenant with him and his offspring (Gen. 11:31–12:7; Neh. 9:7; Is. 41:8). God also called Moses to lead His people out of bondage (Ex. 2:24–3:10; Deut. 6:21–23; Ps. 105). He chose Israel from among the nations of the world to be His special covenant people (Deut. 4:37; 7:6–7; Is. 44:1–2).
Election to salvation takes place “in Christ” (Eph. 1:4; 2:10) as a part of God’s purpose for the human race. As part of His eternal plan, God allows us to use our freedom to rebel against Him. Thus it is gracious of God to save those who find salvation through Jesus Christ. It is not unjust of Him not to save everyone, since no one deserves to be saved (Matt. 20:14; Rom. 1:18; 9:15). Election is gracious; it is also unconditional and unmerited (Acts 13:48; Rom. 9:11; 1 Pet. 1:2). It is an expression of the eternal, sovereign will of God who cannot change (Rom. 8:29; 2 Thess. 2:13). Therefore the salvation of the elect is certain (Rom. 8:28, 33).
Election is a necessary condition for salvation; faith is the sufficient condition. The elect inevitably believe, but they do not believe against their will. They have a God-given desire and ability to trust in Christ for salvation (Acts 13:48; 1 Cor. 15:10; Phil. 1:29; 2:13). The elect choose God because He effectively calls them through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ; they choose Him because He first chose and called them to Himself (Rom. 8:28). That initiating love of God is reflected in Jesus’ statement, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16).
A careful study of the Bible’s doctrine of man cures any romantic notion of a human will that is free to choose for or against God. Those who are slaves to sin and its power (Rom. 6:6) neither understand nor seek after God in and of themselves (Rom. 3:11; John 14:17; 1 Cor. 2:14). Outside of Christ, people are spiritually dead rebels who neither desire to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ nor are able to. Apart from God’s gracious, free, eternal, and sovereign choice of sinners to become His children, none would be saved but would remain forever under His wrath (Rom. 1:18).
Election is not to be a source of complacency (2 Pet. 1:12) or presumption (Rom. 11:19–22) on the part of Christians. They are to make their calling and election certain by growing in godliness (2 Pet. 1:2–11) as they respond with gratitude to God’s electing love (Col. 3:12–17).
God has chosen Christians to bear the image and glory of Christ (Rom. 8:29; 2 Thess. 2:14). They have been elected to be holy in conduct, like Christ (Eph. 1:4). Like Him, they are also to be glorified in their whole being in the life to come (2 Cor. 3:18; Phil. 3:21). The ultimate goal of our election is that we might bring praise and glory to God (Eph. 1:6; Rom. 11:33; 2 Thess. 2:13).

bible and more depraved

If you want to grow into a strong man of God one way you need to do it is reading the bible every day. I am having debate on whether the bible is the most important thing and I find it to be a sad time when the body does not make bible reading more important than anything. Failing to read the word is like not eating the food to grow. If your saved and do not read the bible there is no growth in your life. Even if you read it all before the devil will mess your walk up big time if your not in it and reading it all the time. It is our food and if your not eating your going to die in the things of God. I never have met a christian that did not read their bible that I would call strong and mighty for Jesus. If you wish to grow in the things of God bible reading is a must and if it is not your walk is going to ok to fair. Consist your walk with bible study and your going to be great and if you set it off you will never get strong. If you read this you can get a bible and learn it. No more excuses for not reading the Lovwe of Jesus and what he did and how to walk rightly. I had some friends that misuse the things in the bible to make them look like if you fail to follow it your not ok and then they added things to the bible to make it look like they were better. This is why we need to know the bible and when folk comes to nail you on this or that we defend the truth and do not fall into error. EVERY CALVINIST belief I have is based only on the bible and everything I believe is in the bible and I can show it to you. If something is not in the bible I am not go ing to teach it. I do not look to mans logic in my faith I look only to te bible.
Here are some more verses on the topic of total depraved.
Eph 2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,1
This is a good passage on the sin that we have. We are dead. We had to be rescued and made alive. We were dead and Jesus made us alive and not that we are coming to Jesus. We walkied according to the world and not with Jesus. We were part of the devil and he had blinded us and the devil blinded us until the Lord made the path clear. Look at the BUT. It has to be God that saved and not us.
Eph 4 17 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.2
18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;
Non saved have the mind that God does not work on because they rebel before him. They are blind in the heart.
Col 2 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
You were dead Jesus made you alive.
James 2 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.3
Break one point your in hell forever. No hope unless Jesus steps in

the bible is first

The bible is the only thing I am going to follow in my walk. I make the bible the most important book there is and if it is not the faith I think is right. The bible is the thing I am able to turn to to know about the Lord. I think the bible alone tells us who God is and who we are and what we need to do to be right with God. Nothing God said is not in the bible. If you ever take the bible out of the church your church is a mess and you ought to not go there. Only in the bible do we find the truth of Jesus and who he is. I think to make the bible anything else but the words of the living God is to make God out to be a liar. God is bound by what he said in the bible and if he goes outside the bible to do any work he is bound to lie. Here is things the bible does
Psalms 19 And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
You are converted by the grace of God and the convertion is only found in the repenting of sin and having the Lord Jesus taking your sin on the cross.
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
If god said he did it in the bible he did it. If God healed in the bible he did. If the Lord is saving forever that is what the Lord is going to do. If God said to love you love and if God said to share Jesus you do it no matter what.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
All the laws of God in some time did apply. We are to follow the rules found in the bible and NOT the ones not in the bible. When the bible said that a Pastor is not to be a man of divorce we follow the bible. When the bible said to raise our kids with the laws of the Lord we do it. When the lord said do not kill that means no abortions and When the bible said we are to give to the work of the Lord whatever the Lord and you decide we give. We follow the Lord out Love and the bible we read to know the Lord and follow his grace. Not to follow the laws out of duty (yet I think we need to sometimes follow blindly things in the bible to show we love him. For me I do not drink because it is the best thing me and the Lord have made it say to me. I do not steal because I am bound by the rules and I respect the laws.)
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
God defines pure in the bible. Not us/
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
God said what he is going to expect of us and we all are going to given to the degree we follow. Jesus said to feed the poor are we? Jesus said to preach the bible in and out of season Are we? Jesus said to submit to the power that rule and the boss and we need to do it. God is going to hold you accoutable for everything you do as a christian. We need to make the Love letter of the bible our most loved and cherished book. Shame on us for our lack of knowing the bible and the Lord in the bible.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,

God has to save you

Ron the verse you had on your site is not the right meaning. I follow the bible and I think Jesus is getting at a ton of people that did not use the bible in the right way. The Pharsees went way over the right things on the bible. We need to make our lifes like that if Jesus and do as he said to. At the same rate we are not to make the bible some type of rule book and be into all the Is and T”s. Is that a relationship we are to make with the Lord. Nope, we are to love him and obey him but not go back and make rules we are not finding in the bible. Baptists make rules and try to make them the whole faith and that is not right yet we do need to follow the commands of Jesus and that is to love the Lord God and love your neighbor. What is not loving your God do with things like football and sports as the baptists have nailed me on or woman wearing dress and lady like things or listening to Garth Brooks? Nothing. Knock it off people of the baptist church and teach the Love of Jesus and his forgiveness.
Lets hit more on the fact your so sinful your not able to chose Jesus with out his grace helping you to. I am not going to convert you on this that is the work of Jesus but I am going to lay out why and where in the bible this is so you look and see it yourself
Rom 5 12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.1
One sin made all of us sinners and unrighteous before God. It is not ok for anyone to ever go to God until Jesus payment on the cross takes all the sin out of a life and Jesus is Lord of the life and that happens because of Jesus not you of a soul winner.
Rom 7 8 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.2
Every thing done in the flesh is nothing to God and is junk. No good is ever going to be done by you in flesh. If you obey without the work of the Lord Jesus it is in vain and not right. If you eat a meal in flesh it is not right because all is done in the Holy Spirit. Nothing you do is going to earn you a closer walk it is all the love and grace of Jesus ALONE not you. You are not ok by doing in the bible your made ok in Jesus and you do all out of love of Jesus, not to earn a reward at the end either.
Rom 8 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.3
Nothing you do pleases God in your flesh. It is not possible for a sinner to please Jesus ever. If your not saved God does not want your work because it is like rags and he is not blessing you if your not his. Jesus cannot mold you until your saved and your not going to come into this until your Gods elect and it is not possible without the Lords work in you to even come. Why could you even want to if your a sin fleshly man.
1 sor 2 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 4
If your not in Jesus your not ready for anything about Jesus. God has to prepare your heart to come to Jesus. If someone were to ask me if they were going to hell because they did not love Jesus I am going to say yes you are. But the non saved people will say I am not open and I am not because I know Jesus and he said he is the only one and my mind is his and the non saved mind cannot even kn ow that there is one way because the mind is not prosessed by Jesus and if that is the case the mind is blind to the truth and cannot know. Some cases I know the person is rejected Jesus to the point Jesus has said fine and sealed the person for hell. The person is doomed unless Jesus worked on them and I think if you hear the Gospel and reject it you can be in that boat. I know of many folks that think it is all fake and for them Hell is where they go unless Jesus changes the heart. It is not ok with Jesus to no agree with him and you will go to hell unless he changes you. And I dare say I know people where the case is your done and going to hell.
1 cor 12 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.5
NO ONE CAN CALL JESUS LORD UNLESS THE SPIRIT IS IN HIM WORKING. If your not saved you need to do it today because if you do not God may kill you or make you live for 50 more years and then send you to hell. I have people say it is not right for me to say one is going to hell. I disagree because if you have no Jesus you are going to die and go to hell. I am not going to lie to you and say you could make it in the Catholic heaven without Jesus in 10 millon years. Your not going to go to heaven if you die and Jesus is not your Lord and Savior and both need to be true or no heaven. One lie is enough to send you away to hell. One time not loving Jesus with all you are, and if you think it is not real off to hell you go with no hope.
2 cor 3 4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,6
God makes us right before him we do not. We have nothing in the flesh to give to Jesus it all comes from Jesus and nothing is good enough for heaven we do. We are not going to heaven because we are good because we need perfection and we do not have it. Jesus gives it to us.
2 cor 4 . 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.7
If your not saved this is not going to ever make a bean hill of sense to you, your not going to get Jesus because the devil has covered your eyes and you are impossible to reach without the Lord removing the blinders off and giving you a chance to kn ow the truth. If the Lord gives you understanding take it and get saved for if you reject it your in a place of no good

we all failed

I am going to say if your trying to shut me down here is the facts. First I blocked you because your baptist church has taught race is a reason not to get married. It is a shame the Bob Jones bible college teaches this racial bull. It is reason that you needed to not talk to me on the net and if your pals think they are ok to be like this they will be blocked.
It is unsafe to talk to people that take a strong stand on the net. If one is a little not agreeing with you on religion or politics the safe thing is to kick them off your site. I do not know this person. One could be a nut case with a gun and kill me I just do not know. Who know if one know me they can shot me or stalk me. I advise all people to screen people on the blog would and chat rooms. One may need to not get into a fellowship with a person who does not share your views. I think I am going to be careful who is posting on my page just because you never can be too careful. Not that people are ever like that. I am not going to talk to many people here that are not on my side or sharwe my views. Just to scary. Take a stand and people will hate your guts I know, why take the chance if they are not going to agree than they got to find a new place, we live with freedom of speech and freedom to think whatever you want about the bible. It might be wrong but that is your freedom and rights I am not going to tone down the things i say but I am going to not let you read them and threaten me and tell me I cannot say whatever. I can say things about the Baptist church or the government or how I do not think this is good or bad. No personal attacks are right and I am not into those unless your just off the deep end.
I am going on in my study.
Rom 1 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
So many try to make this say that if one does not know the Lord. IF YOU did not know the Lord God might let you in and your fine. Not right if you do not know the Lord and you die hell. Even if you never heard. That ought to alone make us that Love the Lord tell you you need him. Without Jesus no heaven. But this goes deeper and it does because no one can know Grace unless they are told.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
God gave them to their sins and decided not to save them and that was his call. Who is he talking to and about? Man of all time. Man is corrupt and God let them do this on our own.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
Good passage to show homosexuals are not made that way. They are made and then because of mans sin they are made homos.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.1
Romans 2 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
We do not judge because we are sinners and the sin makes all our judgments off. We cannot ever make the right call because our minds are are filled with sin and off the mark. So if we tried to make a call we are off because our standard is not right.
2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.
We cannot say that anyone is measureing up. In 7 no one can do this outside of Jesus. No one did good before is is even able to because our nature as mankind is dreaded and we are condemned. Grace has to be the reason. And Jesus has to make this possible because works are not good in anyway to Jesus.
12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.2
It is saying that this is the sinners court day. This is not a thing Christians do because the gospel is not been presented in the book until 3 and if we take this to mean Christians then we take the bible out of context.

work issues

I need to report that I got written up at work. I was being a pain to one of the managers that I am not fond of and he is sick of it. I was in the wrong and I need to not say to dan I am going above him and I need to obey his words at the time they are given. If I fail I am going to be back looking for work and that is not where I want to be. I need to keep this job as Long as I am able and then try to retire there into a higher job. It wound not kill me but I do not want a new place for a long time and I got things going as I want them to be. Some are going to ask why I make this public on my page. People read this and the news goes out faster and I can have you pray and support me and I want to keep track of my life. Work is hard and not easy street but I want to obey Dan and win this temptation.
People I am sick of this anti bible stuff and anti Calvinism. Listen I am one and I am not changing anytrime soon. Baptists want me to be there way and I am not. I am not a baptist and never will be. They are not good and they nail me in to many places. If I am going to gamble I am going to and that is my call. If it is sin so be it get off my back baptist people. If rock is wrong to you fine I like it and will play it all I want to, I am a evangelical and Proud of it. I help the poor because that is the right thing to do, I am not going to hold the gospel out for a man to get a free meal or ask a man what church he goes to b2efore I help them. Calvinism is the truth and I am going to fight for it every time and everywhere. Sin is wrong and it makes us nothing to God and forgiveness is in the blood of Jesus granted when you repent. God alone does all the saving and the person is the pawn and if you understand the means of repenting then your saved by God and the understanding is ALONE granted by God. You can say no to this but that does not matter because it is the truth God told me to teach and follow. You can say I am a false teacher and God is telling me I am not. You can just be a jerk and argue it to. But God again is the truth and he is the one that made the truth up.
Another bad thing about the Baptists. God did not just make you the only church.

we all are no good

Last chance to get into the board for the ncaa. Email me or message me for the info please. I want you on if you want to. I need you to be in so we can have a good time. But I need to make sure we are not playing for money because that is not right. I want to go into the word tonight. Comment still are like always banging on me on this topic. I am sure I am going to get more as I move on but make some comments on what is good to and look over the texts and reason from them because I am using the bible to make points. Some of the passage I am looking at for the first time as maybe you are to so comment on the passages and not the concept. I am looking into the mind of God which is only in the bible and not for my logic but to the word of God for the truth. To look into myself or logic is to deny the Lords mind. We are not going to go there on my pager
Job 15 14 “What is man, that he could be pure?
And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?
If God puts no trust in His saints,
And the heavens are not pure in His sight,
How much less man, who is abominable and filthy,
Who drinks iniquity like water!
Man is not pure and after sin is not going to be. But what hits me here that God does not trust you for anything. God does not trust you to live right and God does not trust your choices. He kinda makes them for you. EXAMPLE Does Jesus trust you go to church? No he had to command it and make it part of the faith. Does Jesus trust you to know what to do in a case like if you find money laying on the ground? No you give it back because the Lord told you to. We are a part of Our Lord and when he gives direction we follow because he said so and he is God! I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT LAW but as our dad is God we obey him because he knows the best for you. Ben has been going bowling with me and teaching me how to bowl better. I take what said to do and I do it because I want to be better and God made me and knows how I can be the best and he tells me how in his word and I obey to get the most out of his life. Gods commands are not so God can huker me and be mean but they teach me how to love and be a better man. I went of on a trail but I think it is good to think about God being a loving daddy and to obey him for a reason or two. 1 because he is our dad and we love him and for our own good and growth. And the great command is to love and follow our Lord and love all.
Psalms 14 1 The fool has said in his heart,“There is no God.”
They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
3 They have all turned aside,
They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one.1
Lots here. We are all if we are not saved corrupt, we all do bad works that do not honor the Lord, and not one ever did any good. Matter of truth if we do not work in Jesus name and with his blessing all work we do is no good. God looks down on unsaved man and he sees no one seeking his love. If a man is seeking God is doing all of it. God is drawing in every case. If one is seeking the hunger is planted by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. All are seeking their own good and God is seeking all that can be saved. If one did good then the bible is wrong here no one ever did good inside of themselves. God is all there is good and he is the good thing and no one can choose him. Yes God called Adam and eve good but the sin made them totally unable to be good in anyway.
Psalms 51 5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.2
In sin David was made. Sin so made man bad that babies are infected. Now they are not held to account until they are made to know in their hearts they are sinners and Jesus paid for the sins. Could it be that if a child dies under age God has made his heaven open for them. God determines the death of all man and that means when a baby died God takes him to himself.
Psalms 94 11 The Lord knows the thoughts of man,
That they are futile.3
Man is wicked in thought life.
Psalms 130 3 If You, Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?4
No one is going to goto god and say he has no sin. If God did not make one trust the truth no one ever would.

Total a sinner

What is total depravity? It means your so bad off in sin you are not able to come to jesus and get saved without Jesus giving you all you need. It means sin is so bad that without the help of Jesus no one is ever saved. We died on the first sin we did toward God. Nothing can we ever do is able to saved us. God made adam leave the garden never to return. It took one sin for moses one sin not to enter the land and one sin we do is so serious that hell awaits one who commits one sin. God is so perfect that one mistake is not ever allowed to be part of his work. Listen if you steal one gum ball and that is the only sin you ever did God would send you away from his heaven forever. Now I am not going to just leave us hanging I am again going into the bible and letting the bible say what it said. Logic is not what we need the bible is what we need. In the bible it said Jesus is 100 percet God. It also said Jesus is 100 percent man but Jesus is not 200 percent. I think anti calvinists somewhat do not like anti logic in the bible but it is not us to know the plans of God and to want to is not right.
Ere begins the list for total de[raved
Gen 6 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.1
All the people were infected by sin and nobody went after God. So God killed them all. God was not happy at this point he made man. He declared all were not right with them. So was Noah in his time as he got drunk. We have not changed from this time. Man has the sin thing down and our intent is never that of Gods will because we are wicked in all our ways.
Gen 8 21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done
God is not going to do the same thing yet notice the condition of Man is the same. We are evil from our youth. We have hearts that are bad and God does not want them in the natural state. God saved us but if your saved your going to change into a person God is going to use.
Numbers 15 37 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 38 “Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. 39 And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined,2
Man is shown here to have a heart outside of wanting to follow the Laws and commands of God. We do it our way. I am sorry if you do not think you need to obey folks but here God said you do. Jesus said if you love him your going to obey his commands to love. But on your own folks they and you are not going to do the obey thing. We cannot because our hearts and minds are just tainted with evil. We are no different. We in our day are for our selfs and not on fire for the Lord.
1 kings 8 46 “When they sin against You (for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near; 3
See everyone sins. If you sin you get the wrath of it and all it entails.

More on Gods Selection

I am not that great at nailing this every night. We are in a series on Calvin and the bible passages he used to find his ideas. We have been here for a bit and it is going to be as longer time then I thought. I got a ton more things to prove. Over the last times I am presenting a overview to this and how the bible is giving a case of the chance God works this way. So I want to finish up part one and go into part 2.
James 1 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.1
Of Gods own will he gave us the word of truth. God gave us his love. Perhaps the word was given to show that God was into a new thing and also to prove the grace and Love of God.
1 Peter 1 , 2 elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:2
Elect is to call out of the world or to pick or select. God selected the people. Note also the author is Peter and so we see another author was teaching this thinking.
The foreknowledge of God. It is not that God just knew some how that the people who would pick him. God know because God picked. Look here about this same thing is said by Paul
Romans 8 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.3
different order of words but the foreknow had to be planned. God had to plan this.
2 Peter 1 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.4
Call and election sure. We are to live in a way so people know that our life is Gods and not ours.
Jude 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Here is something about God had people marked for hell. False teachers are the ones here and if your one of them your marked. God does not like fakes. He is going to tear them down. Scary thing.
Rev 13 8 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.5
Now you seen the first part on the chosing of the Lord. For fun here are a few on the other side
romans 10 word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 6
2 peter 3 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.7
1 tim 2 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying— a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.8
So there is parts of the bible where this seems to be a bit not right.

Confession I am a suck for high sopranos singers. I look for the all the time and I love the opera gospel singers. I sit on my computer and hunt for them on the net and tonight because I am short on time I am going to give you some good singers. Now I am not a baptist but I am a fan of the singers of the movement. http://www.roccodapice.com was one of the singers site. Jenny can just sing high and opera like. They are pastors of a new church in New York. Another awesome singer is Robin Noel. She sings like a hard core operas singer in her early stuff but has gotten to light. I also love to listen to Sandi patti the old stuff and to Shela Welsh. Is it just me or and I getting old? Tonight I am going to run a thing Mac wrote about the topic I am working on
The Love of God and the Non-Elect
Does God love only the elect and hate the non-elect?
By John MacArthur
The fact that some sinners are not elected to salvation is no proof that God’s attitude toward them is utterly devoid of sincere love. We know from Scripture that God is compassionate, kind, generous, and good even to the most stubborn sinners. Who can deny that these mercies flow out of God’s boundless love? Yet it is evident that they are showered even on unrepentant sinners.
It must be acknowledged, however, that explaining God’s love toward the reprobate is not as simple as most modern evangelicals want to make it. Clearly there is a sense in which the psalmist’s expression, “I hate the assembly of evildoers” (Ps. 26:5) is a reflection of the mind of God. “Do I not hate those who hate Thee, O Lord? And do I not loathe those who rise up against Thee? I hate them with the utmost hatred; they have become my enemies” (Ps. 139:21-22). Such hatred as the psalmist expressed is a virtue, and we have every reason to conclude that it is a hatred God Himself shares. After all, He did say, “I have hated Esau” (Mal. 1:3; Rom. 9:13). The context reveals God was speaking of a whole race of wicked people. So there is a true and real sense in which Scripture teaches that God hates the wicked.
So an important distinction must be made. God loves believers with a particular love. It is a family love, the ultimate love of an eternal Father for His children. It is the consummate love of a Bridegroom for His bride. It is an eternal love that guarantees their salvation from sin and its ghastly penalty. That special love is reserved for believers alone.
However, limiting this saving, everlasting love to His chosen ones does not render God’s compassion, mercy, goodness, and love for the rest of mankind insincere or meaningless. When God invites sinners to repent and receive forgiveness (Isa. 1:18; Matt. 11:28-30), His pleading is from a sincere heart of genuine love. “‘As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’” (Ezek. 33:11). Clearly God does love even those who spurn His tender mercy, but it is a different quality of love, and different in degree from His love for His own.

Calvinism more an more needed

So I asked you Ron to read the book of 2 Peter. I ask you again to read the context of the verses and then come and talk them over. I am not going to debate this until I am done and at a place where I can. In reading the bible you have to read the book and the chapter then the verse. And the thing about Gods mind? Yes you cannot know the mind of God and that is in the bible. We read the bible to know Gods mind and do what it tells us to do, not to know the mind of God. Read the book of Job and explain that book and what God is saying. So I stand on you cannot use logic of this day to say the bible means something it does not. Like free will is found and choice is found but so is election so you have t5o play both sides of what the bible is saying. God can and does do this on many things and that is not give us a clear read on a topic. Like Eternal Life. In a reading of Hebrews 6 if you read it you would think it talks about losing salvation but that is not what it talks about and reading more of the book shows that. I need to do some more on how to study the bible maybe.
Ok I want to go over some more
Eph 2 2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
I need to drill this first part of the passage. He made you alive when you were dead in trespasses. It is important to know that a sinner is dead and that means he cannot choose anything good because he is without a light. If one is dead he is dead. I am not going to go into a thinking that he is ok and alive to pick God when this said he is not.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
But God had to work in this. God made us alive. We did not get alive and pick then get saved. That is a work of the Lord and not us. All of the work is Gods and he gets all the glory. I sis not pick to get saved without Jesus working in my life. Now to choose Jesus yes I chose but Jesus did the enabling and made me alive.
7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.1
Work that is prepared BEFORE we Got saved. God made the works and gave them to you. You did nothing but obey. And no works you did got you saved (in case your into a baptism salvation)
Col 3 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.2
Elect of God... This is a charge of God in the way we have to live in the faith. Also it teaches that we need to forgive. It is not loving to be racial. I have had that that on my heart. It is wrong to separate anyone because of color. Bob jones did and that makes him a moron. If your at Bob Jones and follow the stupid and unloving rule of not dating over race friend your not saved and also if you a race separatist in any way your not a Christian. Sorry if you want the easy way out. I am so sad any baptist is racial. I will not go to any school that hints at this in any shape. I need a statement from you Pastor that you are not as Bob Jones because without it I am not going to go to your place EVER. Do not make race a thing to separate and do not make your church the only one in town. Both are not righteous.
We are to love everyone and if we do not we do not we are not saved.
1 thes 1 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.3
1 thes 2 12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.4
God who calls you
2 thes 2 13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.5
From the beginning God choose you, He called you b y the gospel. Who did the work? You or God.
1 Tim
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,6
Titus 1 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, 7

Calvinism more an more needed

I have not found a thing going to hit Mac on his bible in the Rom 8 28-30 passage. I am not going to look for it any more tonight, But I want to keep on the survey because there is a ton of things in my thinking to outline and I need to keep going so by easter I am back in John.
Rom 8 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.1
God elect are the people God choose to be saved. God called them and we took a look at that word last time. It cannot be that God just called people he knew that would come to him. We are going to prove and show that no one can call on God because they are to sinnful and in sin they are dead. It is called Total Depravity and we get that when we look at it as a part of this series.
Rom 9 6 But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9 For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”
10 And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac 11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”2
I do not really want to touch this with a ten foot pole because I am going to have 50 comments and e mails. I think this a an example of how God calls people. I see it this way and I will outlind it
1 2 sets of people
a flesh
b God
2 look at 11 God picks a people not on merit. He picked them so the purpose of God might stand. Not of works but of Grace.
4 God hated one and loved the other. Now God made the chose out of his plan of salvation. Does God have a hate. Yes. Did he pick Jacob because of Merit. No. Did God make a call here one good and one bad. Yep. Why? If you know this your higher than God because God never told me in this bible.
Rom 11 5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.3
7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 Just as it is written:
“God has given them a spirit of stupor,
Eyes that they should not see
And ears that they should not hear,
To this very day.”4
God blinded some to the truth of the Gospel? Yep
1 cor 214 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 5
No man can receive the things of God because... God blinded them
1 Cor 1 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
REASON TO THINK ELECTION IS RIGHT
GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY BECAUSE IT IS HIS IDEAS AND PLANS AND YOU ARE JUST THERE BECAUSE AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. NO SELF GLORY OR GLORY WHEN YOU WIN A SOUL. GOD GETS 1000 PERCENT BECAUSE GOD SAVES ALONE.
Gal 1 15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,6
Paul picked Jesus out of his will right? No He was picked friend and if Paul was so were you. Are you greater than Paul? Paul did not choose Jesus knocked him over and said your mine. So why did you have power when God picked Paul? All Grace. No works from Paul to get saved.
EPH 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.7
Does this get anymore clearer? He picked us as he gives us everything at the point we are saved. People in some places think the Lord is going to give them more and more blessings. No when your saved you get all the possible blessing the moment you get saved. Your filled in the spirit the second youre saved. And this is just like Jesus picking you and paul from the womb. Not a New concept
Jer 1 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”8
In the womb God had started your salvation plan.
Eph 2 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,9
Why?
Phil 2 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.10
