We need to become a nation that is energy independent. We have put a man on the mon but we do not go out and get all our oil out of the ground and we buy it from a place that is not good for human rights. We give our money to lands that want to kill us when we got so much of it in our land. One thing Obama did was to make it hard to get the oil out of Alaska and it is a shame. We got 10 years of it in the ground there and we can produce it off shore too. But the global warming bull crowd does not want us to burn it all up. What we need then is a car that makes 200 miles per gallon or makes it go with out fuel that is going to cause so call warming. If we did Alaska oil the state would not have to be taxed and this is a good thing. We ought to start on a plan to make a fuel we can make in this land. We can have oil for a long time if we conserve and we make oil a value so people will use it wisely. We also need to build 30 new nuclear power plants here so we can have power for this land. It is a fuel that will last much longer then oil and it is cheaper. All the above is and should be our policy for fuel and energy. Then we can export it and make our land rich
