Restore the fallen
Hey all you fellow web surfers. I am talking to the fans that read this thing and your there and I love it. How r you in the Office and you know who you are. How about them monarchs. I am going to be a friend of a top team in the WNBA. I am betting they are going to win the whole thing. Ok football is being played and at the end of this I am going to allow you to link to my teams and if you want to comment on them you might be able to in e mail or on the comment line. I think I did a good job in the draft and I have a chance to win but it is a long season and I am going to have to commit to stay on top of the teams I am on and maybe do some good while I am at it.
Gal 6 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For each one shall bear his own load.[1]
It is time for some thinking about this passage. We are to restore folks that have fallen in the faith. We are all going to fail in the walk in one way or another because we are not in heaven. So when one falls in the faith we ought to work to restore them because it is so easy to be tempted and go our own way. We need to make sure that we are walking in the Spirit first and foremost if we are going to try to help the fallen get up and back on the road. If we have sin in our life we need to make sure that we confess and are right before we deal with others sin. Friend if you’re not right in the Lord then you needs to get right. We are to bear each other’s stuff and pray for them as a way to help them. If we do this we have done the law and that is to love one another as Jesus loves us.
We are to stay humble and know that we are just the same of the people that we may need to restore to the faith.
