Why Jesus is better than Islam
I said last time that there is one true God. Tonight I want to begin a series on the reason that I think other religions are false. Jesus is not another option he is the only one. I want to think on why Jesus is truth tonight and Islam is a sham. Islam was founded Mohammad in the 7th century. This man called himself the great prophets. He married a rich lady and began to think. He is said to have a vision of God in his 40s. He thinks God was Allah. Allah is said to be the only God and his prophet is this Mohammad. Jesus on the other hand was the Son of God. Unlike Allah God sent his son to die for the sins of all mankind. Allah is a impersonal God that wants you to work to make you ok with him. 5 things you must do to gain Salvation and they do not make you ok for heaven. First you must say that Allah is God and Mohammad is the true way to God. Then you must pray 5 times a day. Times are Dawn, Noon, afternoon, evening and night. You bow towards Mecca and you. In Christ you are to pray to him in private and tell him all that is going on with you. Jesus said to cast your cares on him for he cares for you. Allah does not care like Jesus does. You then are to give 2 and a half percent of all you make to place you worship. Jesus asks us to not only give your money but give all you are for all of him. Jesus Loves you and he wants you to love him back. He does not want your money until he has you and all of your Heart. A Muslim is expected to fast for a month every year. They fast in the day and eat at night. It is half time fast. Then you must make a trip to Mecca and you might be saved.
In Christ you’re saved when he comes to live in you. You do not have to do anything out of compulsion. It is purely out of Love and Jesus gives you the things you do to serve him. Heaven in the Muslim is not the same of that of Christ. First of all Heaven to them is a place of pure delight. It is for men to have all the virgins they want. Christ said heaven is the place of no sin or death. Heaven is where Jesus is and where we will see each other and worship God. It is not a place of self-satisfactions it is all for the Lord.
The view the Muslim takes that makes my faith say they are totally off is the lie Jesus did not die on the cross and raise from the dead. Alone this makes the faith a sham to me. They say Judas died in Jesus place. They deny the truth that Jesus is God and he lived so he could make us righteous.
A thing about the holy book they claim. It said the beauty is the reason to trust it. That is a sham the Bible is trusted because of the things it said about Jesus 5000 years before he lived on the earth. Also they claim the Quran is right on with science. The bible worldview is in all aspects of study. You cannot say this is true of any other book in the world. The Quran thinks that we all came from a blood clot. Bible said God spoke us into life.
SO how do we reach the Muslims in the world? We need to be praying for them. You need to care about them and become friends with them. If you do not care about people they ain’t going to care what you have to give them. We need to not create walls and tell them they are wrong and the Quran is a lie. We need to just show them the word and allow the Lord to use his word to reach them. Lets ask them to look at Jesus and his claims. Really all witnessing is pointing to Jesus and allowing him to work. Mohammed was exhorted to seek forgiveness for his faults. What a launch into the truths that Jesus is the forgiver and paid for all sins and wants to save you. Compare Jesus and Mohammed. Jesus is the only way but why is he. Make sure you share the truth that you have a relationship with Jesus and not a religion. Jesus wants you to relate to him like a friend and a brother. He wants to call you close to him so he can be your friend. ‘
Here is the bottom line tonight: We need to share Jesus with everyone.
