People are hated for Jesus
The following is a thing on the truth that is going on in the world today for the Christians in other lands. Many people today are being put in Jails and killed or beaten today for the crime of being a Christian. This is a sad thing and your not going to hear this on the news because they are not caring about the Christians that people kill. If they did we would have a outcry for the USA to stop trade with lands and governments that allow people of the Christian faith to be treated right. In Iran it is a crime not to be a Muslim. It is a crime in many lands to tell others that Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. It is a sad day in this land we live in that we are not being hunted for our faith. I think we are when Bill Mauer is allowed to trash us on open airwaves. People in government are calling the Christian right wing a bad thing. I got news for them that Jesus is coming and he is not going to like the rubbish they are doing for Him. I am calling the Democrats that use Jesus to get elected fools because they insert the bible into their speeches then they do not live by it. Either side ought not mix politics and the bible. That is for other nights.
Jesus said that Christians are going to have it easy but they are going to sometimes die for their faith in Jesus. So why do people hurt others for their faith. I got a few ideas why. First people Hate God. Hating God does not believe in him. If you do not think there is a God you hate him. I know everyone that does not live for God does not love him and to not love God is to hate him. To hate anyone is to hate God. God is not going to allow his haters into heaven. Here is the word of Jesus who is God
John 15 . 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates Me hates My Father also.[1]
Note the pronoun and the truth that if you hates Jesus Hates God. If you know the truth or even if you do not then I plead with you to go to how to be saved link. But they kill the Christians is they hate Jesus and then hate God
They kill because they are not sure of God. Here is a proof that Jesus is right on and is God. He tells people what is going to happen to those who follow Jesus. If all the 12 died for a man I think this is a proof Jesus is real.
“These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.[2]
They kill because they do not want righteousness to be lived out
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.[3]
If you live for Jesus you’re going to face heat for it. Friend if you came to Jesus thinking life is going to be easy (which I think I did at first) your not right because living for Jesus is going to cost your friends and they may not love you anymore. Jesus did not come to make you rich and life easy Jesus came to save you from Hell.
So we need to do a few things when our faith is put down. First it is a good sign your living for the Lord. What are you to do. You ought to flee it. If people are making you feel bad for living for Jesus do not hang with that crowd. If they mock your king and do not stop they are bad for you.
Matthew 10 22 and you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23 When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.[4]
Matthew 6 6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.[5]
If they want the truth they know you got it then give it to them. If they mock you for it they lose it.
1 Peter 4 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.[6]
If they mock you turn it to a chance to make Jesus famous. That is what other did to me before I was a saved man. I mocked and teased them but Jesus made it so they were the ones that got me saved and into the Lords work.
