Notes on the vikings sale and God provision

I am the man on the beat for the Vikings. They might be sold to the Fowler group out of AZ. Fine with me. I think the first thing the team needs to do is build a new place to play. Make it a outside place and make it big unlike the dome. Then they need to trade moss for some good defense. I think a good wide out would help them to. If the Viking want to move then I think we would need a new team. Move them if they are going to make me pay for a new place. Maybe they ought to make a casino and then give the team that cash to play with. I might toss cash into the place so the team can stay here. I am not a gambler yet I do think people do it so we ought to make money out of the sins of others. Maybe they ought to have a bake sale and earn them a new place to play ball in? I think it not right to cut off people and the North Star rail line and build a place to play football. Plus think of all the value of the team owning a place to play football in. If Red had a place to play in the value would have been over a billion. Speaking on the sports bout time the Twins got the book out and payed Santana his worth. I know we cry about the money they make but we are the people that pay and I think I might go to another game if they got a team and paid 80 Million for the players. If they had a good team the fans are going to pay out and go to a few games. I want to. If the team is no good fans are not going to come see the twins. Also a outdoor park will bring in money. Build a billon dollar place for all the teams and be done with it. All the money will get more cash into the pockets of the area and you will keep sports here. We are going to have a big pot of cash to pay if we get the players and keep the players.

I want to hit tonight the truth the Lord is a provider and he is able to meet your needs. God is able to meet your needs in his riches in Christ. God has made you his own kid. If you are a dad the one thing you do is to provide for your own. God is a perfect dad and he provides you with all you need if you’re his. First and foremost God gives you heaven. Jesus is the only thing we need to have in us for the heaven. Jesus talked about not worrying about food and clothes. Our father is going to provide for you all your needs. I want to note something here. If you are working your earning your food and stuff you keep working and do it for the Lord. If you do not work and are able to you ought to do it. If you do not work God told you you ought not eat. If you are unable to work Gods going to help you and provide for you in a good way. I know some are out of work and it might not be your fault and if that is the case God is able to take care of you.

Here are some passages on this concept

Deu 8 18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.[1]

God gives you power to get wealth. Yet I think you ought to bless him and use some of it to make God famous. Put 10 percent into your church and then 5 percent into the world mission’s movement. MAKE YOUR LOCAL CHURCH YOUR PLACE OF GIVING. And if you’re fed in other places pay some to them to.

Psalms 91 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.[2]
God provides protection for his kids. If your in the arm of Jesus he is going to provide you protection from the evil one.

Psalms 127 Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.[3]

If your provision is not from Jesus friend you are not going to like it. I think if your life is not built on Jesus is is a wasted life. Look and pray at this last verse and it is the bottom line tonight.

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”[4]
