History on this date and a lit bible study

It is a history day. On this day in 1990 I began working at otc. It was my first day of work ever. I sat by bill that day and I have been working ever since. Also in 1941 our great nation was attacked by Japan. We lost more life on this day due to war till the attack in New York. It was a awful thing to thing a sovern nation hit this free land. Many men went to defend this land in that war and many died in that. I Praise the Lord for this land and the freedom that is given to us. May we as a nation go back to the Lord and honor him in all we do and may we fight harder to share Jesus with the people that need him. We are blessed because Jesus know we send many out to tell the world about Jesus, I wish I did more and this is part of my work. Here is the lesion for tonight

19 Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.” 21 Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.

Last time I took time to look at the King in the Land when Jesus was born. Well Herod has died and the Lord tells Joe to go back to his land the land of Israel. So they went home and on the way Joe finds out the new king is a evil one to. So they end up going to a city called Nazareth. Jesus grew up here. The king in the time was Phillip who was a quiet man. So the bible tells us in the following that Jesus was going to be a Nazarene. What another clear proof Jesus is the one the people were waiting for.

A Note on the king Archelaus, He did not last long. The Romans knocked him out out of power in 5 BC and in came another king that people might know, Pilate. He killed the Lord Jesus on the cross and later killed himself. A ton of wicked kings who did not fear the things of the Lord,

22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee. 23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”[1]

So I am thinking why look into all this junk. I think this is a good time to tie in that the bible we have is the very word of the living God. It is inspired and it also proves itself over and over to me. First look at the people and the history that is right on. Matthew is not making this up as he goes because Jesus is telling him what to write, Also is Matthew was making it up then how does he rate quoting a scroll that they read from in the temple all the time. Like the lie if it was one is very masterful and proves the author had done lots of planning in making this tale up.

We see later in the Bible Jesus lived and was rejected in this city.
