I am doing a bad job in keeping up with the will of God. I guess I need to learn to do the will of God and seek it as hard as I am doing other things in life. It is not good to not seek Jesus in all I am doing. I might be but I am open to a lot of improvement. Jgods will is so key to the life of a Christian. Here are some things that are the will of God. God wants me to be saved man. If I am not saved I am not even going to know the will of God if I am not in the Family. God wants me to be filled with the Spirit. God wants me to live a separated life from the world. I am not to be in the worlds system and their thinking I am to be set apart and living to please Jesus. God wants me to serve others. One thing I can really work on and do. I am not the server I ought to be. Also God needs me to suffer for the Lord Jesus and be willing to live for Jesus. Also the Word has some keys here to

1 Cor ¹² All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. [1]

God said I am to live and do things that are helpful and not harmful to me. I am to do my best and not do things that are going to harm me.

1 Cor 6 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. [2]

Here I am to flee sin. Joseph fled when he was tempted by the kings wife. If sin is in path flee the path and find a new plan. Get rid of the junk that causes sin and find Jesus fills all the holes in life.

1 Cor 6 20 for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.[3]

Jesus paid for my life and my life is his. He runs it I do not. Jesus asked me to give all to him and when I am not giving him my life I am not in his will.

1 Cor 10 31³¹ Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.[4]

If I am living to please Jesus I am in his will and if I am living to please me I am not.

I did not think this is the thing I would talk on tonight but I find this to help me and I need to learn this and make a part of my life and in all my thinking.

I want to close on a little thinking on the filling of the spirit and what that means and does not mean. I like to look at this way. Take a glass and poke holes on it. Fill it up with water and the water is going to go out in the holes and you got to keep filling the cup. Ok the cup is like your self and the water is the spirit of God. In filling I am seeking to have the lord be in my heart 100 percent yet when we sin we are breaking off the flow.

We need to repent and come and be cleaned. It is called confess sin and keep our sins list short. When you confess your forgiven on the spot. Also being filled is to live in a way to think and know Jesus is watching me every day of my life. He is there to make his love known. I need to live like that in all my day to day life. Bottom line Filled with the spirit is filled with the word and living on the thing of the bible
